Excellent German Food 2/28/2006

Last year for my sister’s birthday, we went to the Edelweiss, a German restaurant in Colorado Springs. We were all very impressed. The prices were a tad bit higher than your “average” restaurant, but the atmosphere and food were very authentic. My dad, who has been to Germany at least a half dozen times, thought the food was excellent, and he even struck up a conversation with our German waitress! Definitely the place to go if you want authentic German food and atmosphere! more

Edelweiss 9/7/2005

We went here because we used to choose different restaurants that we have never been to. And this one was chosen by our friends to go to. Not one that we would have picked and now we know why. We had a very long wait and the food was just ok, nothing to spectacular. I guess if you like Bavarian food this is the place for you. more

Delicious German Cuisine 7/2/2005

This restaurant is a very, very good place to eat. Rather you are just casually wanting a good meal, or you are celebrating a wedding or anniversary. My husband and I really enjoy this place. The food is very appetizing and wonderfully presented. You get your Brotchen and butter before the meal and just that alone is a great treat. The salad is pure German in its taste and is a welcome change. In all the time I have went there, I have only ever had one problem and it was fixed so quickly and my next meal was free. My husband and I love to sit by the fireplace and enjoy this great place and its food. more
