Only giving one star, cause there isn't an option for zero stars. Police called them after someone ran a red light and hit us. I wanted nothing to do with them. Towed the car to their storage lot, instead of to our house, and deny us access to it. Called police, they said they have the right to deny us access cause it is on private property. Rude in person both times I stopped by. Wouldn't recommend them as a local business to support. more

My car was towed for dead tags. when the tow truck driver arrived we didnt have keys to the vehicle. so they called in another person which they say and charged me an extra 150. so now thats 300 just for the day. bout time it was time for my to retrieve my vehicle it was 625 dollars because the insisted they was not going to take off that extra 150. its not my faught your driver could not get the car on the truck with out the keys. fire his ass. the broke my neon lights, scratch the side of my car, messed up my stearing from dragging ny vehicle when they was suppose to use dollys. left ny windows on coverd so eveything in my vehicle was destroyed, they could have atleast put a bag on it. so now im sueing them for danages done, and charging me the extra money. by far the worst towing company EVER. and they just want your money. more

Recently my transition went out on my car. When I expressed concerns about cost, they willingly searched for slightly used transmissions so that I could choose between a new or used one. I really appreciated this help so that I could make the most cost efficient decision. The repair was done in a timely manner. more

State police called them in after I had an accident, no problems. Was worried about the bad reviews that I saw, but they seem nice and help me find a good body shop. more

My car broke down and I called for a tow in the middle of the night. I was really impressed when the driver arrived at my vehicle in under 20 minutes. This was much appreciated at 2 a.m. when you are tired and frustrated. That is customer dedication right there! So reliable, even the middle of the night when everyone else is in bed. more

I am all about looking for the best prices for auto service and over the past 3 years the best prices have been coming from Edelen's Service Center. Their prices are fair and are clearly communicated to you prior to the mechanics completing the service. Best prices around. more

Edelen's is the most reliable car service company I have ever taken my car to. All services are provided in a timely manner, very professional staff, prices are extremely reasonable. The greatest thing about Edelen's is that they do their best to fit you in around your schedule. They fully understand the demands of a busy schedule and work hard to work around their costumers! Good: Towing was about the only thing they could do without screwing up. Bad: Extremely amateurish and unprofessional on the car repair. They actually cross threaded each and every lug on every wheel. I can't imagine anyone using so much force to even put the lugs on that way, but like they say, you can't fix stupid. When we had to take the front tires off, we had to use a 4 ft extension and enough force that sheared 2 lugs off on each side. Of couse, these people denied any responsibility, cost us $260 to repair. Ritchie Automotive rocks! Avoid Edelens if you value your car... Improvements: Better mechanics and people who know what they are doing.. Other: It's too bad I can't post this with ZERO stars, they don't even deserve one.. more

Good towing company, I didn't have any problem... I usually only get on these to complain but I guess it should work both ways lol. more

I called and spoke to an employee there three times about having my truck picked up and taken to a different town. She quoted me a cost of about $150 for this service. I told her what time I expected it to be ready for pickup, I told her exactly where it was and where it was going and when it had to be there. No problem, she said. I told her what time I would call back to say it was ready. I called at that time, now my fourth call in an hour, and this time I got the owner Millie. She told me for the first time that it might cost an extra $100 if they got stuck in rush hour traffic. I told her I understood the need for such a fee but that they should have told me about it when I first called so I could have called around for a better rate, especially since I had been so clear about exactly what time the car would be ready for pickup. Now they had me in a tight spot because I didn't have time to find another tow. She then argued with me about what time I called and basically told me I could take it or leave it. She was incredibly rude. I had been totally clear about what I needed and completely honest about what time I would need the service. I did exactly what I told them I would do. All I expect is for people to do the same in return, to honor the price they quote me, and to tell me about any possible fees up-front -- I expect honest and fair treatment, but this place couldn't provide it. I canceled the service and we found somebody else to tow the truck, but I would push my truck to the next town before I gave these people any of my business. more

The worst experience I ever had with an auto service place was here. The owner was obnoxious, and refused to negotiate anything. They other people here are not empowered to make any decisions. She lets her kids scream, run around and switch the light while you are trying to talk to her. Completely insensitive to anybody else;s problems, and charges outrageous amounts when allowed too. Go somewhere else. more
