Handyman Karalic Eddie took the money and left us with leaking roof and flooded basement.\r Be aware: he used a dirty trick to get to our house: Eddie bids low and then demands more money when the work is in progress. He did that to us.\r \r He gave us a written estimate $2000 and we agreed to let him replace the skylights and fix the sunroom roof. In addition, he undertook to fix a faucet and replace a few shingles \r \r Eddie started work on July 03, 2013; removed the shingles and plywood from the roof and then demanded more money $1400. \r Handyman Eddie Karalic performed the job in the most unprofessional manner, disregarding any common sense, or skylight installation instructions, After the first rain , the roof started leaking and keeps on leaking.\r Eddie Handyman installed a cracked PVC pipe in the basement. He hid the broken pipe behind the isolation – took the money and disappeared. I'd like to commend Handyman Eddie and his crew, they just completed my son's bathroom remodel and I needed to contact you to let you know how truly satisfied I am at the outcome. Stay away from the crook!\r \r He can do everything and everything is no problem. He can guarantee you the best price and best quality. That’s what Eddie told us during his free evaluation.\r \r We asked him to remove the vinyl floor and plywood beneath it and then install new tile floor at the kitchen and bathrooms. He breached the contract of the project at the beginning. He and his assistant Handyman S persuaded us it was ok to put tiles on the vinyl directly according to their ‘professional experience’. When we pointed the unlevel surface after they finished the first bathroom, they told us nothing could be improved due to the uneven vinyl surface.\r \r The second day morning, we were told that Eddie had a kidney stone problem went to the ER and a subcontractor would replace him. But Eddie stopped by our house that evening and asked us another $1000 check for the subcontractor.\r \r We stopped the poor project and eventually took him to court. We won. Eddie agreed to pay us $200 each month from 2012. His checks were always delayed or ‘missed on the way’. He stopped paying the rest (2/3 of the total) from July for his buying a house and his slow business. We called him but no answers. It was strange that on 8/27/2012, a lady picked up the phone and claimed it was her phone number and she had just got this number a couple of days before. She hadn’t pick up the phone was because she tried to avoid her ex-boyfriend. The phone number we called was verified it belongs to Eddie not someone else at all! What a crook gang!!\r \r Our experience from this man: When a Handyman tells you that he can do everything and give you a very good price, be alert! Better track his reputation from different source on web before you make a decision. more

I had this handyman do some work around my house and I loved him and his work so much that I brought him over to Jersey to work on the roof of one of my homes.. I'll tell ya what he did Fabulous job! This roof has withheld rain, thunder, storm, all leak free.. I LOVE THIS MAN and HIS WORK.. He has proven to me that his work is truly outstanding! more
