Eddie Hill's Restaurant

New to Fl and have not found many sushi restaurants so have been eating mostly Publix sushi :(. Came here to have a good fresh sushi nite! The restaurant is sort of small and there was a wait. The guy at the front did not seem all that friendly and you sign in to wait for table. They were pretty busy. Finally sat down and looked at the big menu- lots of selections it was so hard to choose! Like a Cheesecake Factory menu but with sushi and Thai! Finally we made our selections and just waited. Waited for drinks. Waited for soup.. which was decent but not the best I have had. Finally my sushi and my hubbys chicken teriyaki came out. The food was good but the taste was kinda blah. Looked fresh and plated well and portions were good. I will go back to try some other things I was not able to this time but I did not leave thinking I must come back really soon. It was not bad but not a standout. Hopefully next time will have more of a wow factor. Pros: Good selection with large menu Cons: slow service more

Yes, they do have good food but not better than Siam Oishi on hallandale beach blvd on the Winn Dixie Plaza. Pros: Good food Cons: Arrogant attitute, Charge xtra 4 everthing, needs remodeling more

My boyfriend has been eating here for years and was always raving about how they are the best thai restaurant he has ever been to. This was my first time eating thai food, but i am in love with it now. I had the crispy duck and he had pad thai noodles and crab rangoon to start! Goodness it was delicious! The service was perfect and the atmosphere was quaint. I will be going back every chance i get. Pros: GREAT FOOD & SERVICE Cons: you might have to wait a few minutes for a table more

My girlfriend and I love thai food, but we are often disappointed. However, that is not true with Eddie Hills. The food is fantastic. Also, the prices are reasonable. We always get basil chicken, and its only like $12, compared with $19 at Siam in Aventura mall. Plus, it is more flavorful. We like to get very spicy, and we tell every place we go such. Only Eddies is able to make it so spicy that we can barely handle it. Go, you will not be disappointed. Its very small and often busy, so call ahead for reservations. more

Eddie Hill's WOULD rank higher but I agree with previous poster. They are RUDE. In addition Sushi Thai on the Beach on Hollywood boardwalk is as good or better with out the attitude. But, don't try to order from Sushi Thai if you live in Harbor Island or any where near Hallandale, Eddie Hills is apparantly strong arming them and they will woefully decline delivery service here as Eddie Hill's has made it clear that this is their territory. It's worth the drive to the beach, and you can always enjoy a stroll. more

This is absolutely the best thai restaurant in the city. It may look like a little hole in the wall, but it is the best kept secret of excellent thai cuisine. Once you enter and experience the authentic food and their large menu of sushi and thai , it'll be hard to stay away. I highly recommend Eddie Hills. more
