Edchadas

Obviously the owners wrote the two good reviews on here...this restaurant was sour. :( The chips and salsa were frightening...should have known before I ordered an 2 entrees for myself and my wife. The service was really punctual and great...but honestly that was the only perk. The ice tea was heavily diluted and tasted like water with a lemon. Food was fresh and very good, chips and salsa were great, decent menu selection lacking only seafood, great service, restaurant was clean, nice atmosphere, good location with plenty of parking, very reasonable prices. ***Update*** Ate here again about a month later, not so good, salsa was different and tasted store-bought, chips were old and stale. Ordered Chili Verde and requested ""no cheese on anything"", served cheese anyway, food wasn't good, rice was burnt, service was slower than the first time, judging by the mixed reviews and my own personal experience I guess Edchada's is a hit-or-miss restaurant. I went to this restaurant after searching on the citysearch website. It had a rating of 9. Boy was I misled. I would have never even walk into this retaurant, let alone eat there by the appearance alone. I was going to give benefit of doubt. I've never had more worse mexican food in my entire life. The seafood enchilada was made with an artificial crab meat, the salsa tasted off, guacamole looked that old dark green brown, and I only ate a little of my own entree which I thought was grilled steak fajita since it was in the fajita section of the menu. It was a meat stew! How can salsa be bad? The only good thing about that restaurant was the attentive waiter, but if food is this bad, I don't really care how nice they are. This is a great restaurant. I highly recommend it. The food, service, and everything about it is just absolutely magnificent!! If you love Mexican food or even American food then this is the place for you! They have everything from chili rellanos to carne asada, the food here can't be beat! The margaritas are also muy bueno!! No one can make a margarita like them on this side of the Bellagio! And for last they have just the most delicious deep fried ice cream for dessert!
