I have used Mr. Briggs' company for the purchase and maintenance of my systems for many years - decades. He and his employees are honest, knowledgeable, quick to respond in an emergency, efficient, friendly people. I am fortunate that someone introduced me to this company so many years ago. They are a small town company which serves a county of almost a million people - as of this posting. They have strong values, and always have been on-the-spot at the drop of a hat when I have needed them. They know their business. I will use no one else. I cannot praise them highly enough. more

A very good experience at a very bad time! 8/10/2010

Last month, our AC went out during that really big heat wave. My husband called several AC companies, had one guy come out and look at it. He recommended a new unit. My husband was not entirely satisfied with the price or the attitude. He called several more people and chose Briggs Heating and Air. Imagine my surprise when Mr. Briggs himself came out with his crew and worked to get our house cool again! Not only were Mr. Briggs and his staff knowledgeable, honest and courteous, they worked efficiently and didn't quit till they had the new unit working late Friday nite. We would definitely call this company again for any heating or air conditioning problems! more

Saw their truck across the street while waiting for another. 7/23/2010

I was housesitting for my parents and the AC stopped working. I called their AC guy, who I won't name (works for a different HVAC company, not Ed Briggs), and was told 4 times that he was ""on his way"" over a 6 hour period. Near the end of this period I saw the Ed Briggs truck across the street at a neighbor's house. I flagged down the guy as he was heading back to his truck and he agreed to take a look (despite the fact that at this point it was 6:30 p.m. on a Friday evening). He quickly diagnosed the issue (a blown compressor). Unfortunately we have to stick with our original guy because the unit is under warranty. Even so, it is still tempting to go with the clearly superior service of Ed Brigg's team. Thank you John for your help! After we get this issue fixed my business will always go to the guys at Ed Briggs. Pros: Excellent service more
