Ecostar Green Cleaning

They stole our money. We prepaid for cleaning services and they now will not return phone calls, text messages or facebook messages and haven't shown up to clean in over a month? Has anyone else been robbed? We plan to pursue something to get our money back - anyone want to join us? more

These guys are HORRIBLE. In two months of using them I have had multiple missed appointments, poor service of cleaning, and even saw them leaving about 30 minutes earlier than they were supposed to. It seems to be a new crew every time. Here's the worst part:\r \r They have a key to my house and I had a scheduled cleaning every Wednesday. I was out of town on work and left a check on the counter for them. I get home, my house isn't clean, and my check is still on the counter. I get a call a couple hours later from my next door neighbor stating that she got home and her house was cleaned.\r \r They went to the wrong house! No clue how they got in, but this is after a few months of using their service. I have tried to call Stacie, the owner, for the past month now. E-mailing, calling, leaving voicemails, and have never heard anything back. I'm worried also because they have a key to my house, and now they have disappeared.\r \r A word of advice, never, ever, use these guys. more

This is an update to my comment below from several months ago. They never returned our MULTIPLE attempts to contact them to redeem our second PREPAID voucher. We finally had to go back to the 3rd party website through which we purchased the vouchers to get a refund (the 3rd party was wonderful, by the way, and promptly assisted us). At that point, I just wanted to be done with EcoStar completely. I have never experienced such HORRIBLE customer service and I cannot believe they are still in business. However, now that I just want to move on, they keep spam emailing me and texting me promotional offers. Are you kidding me? I have called and asked them to remove me from their contact lists (especially the texts...so annoying), but of course my requests have been disregarded. One last thing, I find it very interesting that the one glowing review written below is written by ""Holyoak"" which happens to be the same last name as the owner, Stacie Holyoak. Puh-lease.... more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever delt with. I scheduled a cleaning service with them and they just never showed up. I have called them many times to find out what happened and to reschedule my appointment and I have never reached anyone. I've left several messages and my calls are never returned. DO NOT do bussiness with these people. more

If I could give this company a 0, I WOULD! I had set an appointment for the following week and received my e-mail confirmation the day before. Day of the appointment, and at the 20 minutes late mark, I called the company. I had no notice that the service would be late or anything. They NEVER SHOWED. I followed up with the company by phone and by e-mail. I never received a response. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! more

Absolutely terrible service. My impression that the ONLY good reviews done are done by the company owners themselves to promote, because there is no possible way ANYONE can like this service. First of all - the crew was 20 minutes LATE. They left PROMPTLY ON TIME, however. I have paid for deep cleaning - $300. I have received BASIC VACUUMING and poorly mopped floors. NOTHING was dusted. Seiously?! NOTHING!!! there is dust in the office, dust on the table, dust EVERYWHERE that accumulated over the last week. This is the step one of BASIC cleaning - dusting. And I paid for DEEP CLEANING. Next - baseboards were pretended to be wiped , because the little dirty finger prints from my kids were still there, very obvious, and it only took me a spray bottle and a wipe to clean them off right now myself. More so, my 2 year old left her socks under the chair - they were STILL there even after vacuuming in the same position as she left them, as well as the glitter from the party decor we had over the weekend is still in the very easily accessible corner in the living room , just behind a light chair. The kitchen floors were left with streaks - i had to re-do myself. The food that was stuck to the floor from baby eating was there too as well when I was re-cleaning. When I spoke on the phone with the owner, she made it sound like they are going to turn inside out and are so much above and beyond all the other cleaning services out there. They are , but NOT in a good way. I have NOT received the counter cleaning out the outside in the kitchen , like they state on the website. I have NOT received windows wipes in the inside, as they state on the website, they barely got wiped. To top it off - the rugs were just thrown back NOT how they originally were positioned ( 2 rugs in kids room reversed, and diagonally placed bedroom rug was just thrown back straight ), chairs, and furniture that got lucky to be moved was NOT placed back, and - best ever - curtains were tight in the knot and LEFT to be like that - how awesome! not I need to spend another hour re-ironing what they messed up. Mind you - this is $300 service. They could pay more attention for additional fee - SERIOUSLY?!?!?! You come into someone's house to CLEAN but leave it MESSED UP from running your vacuum - because nothing else was done - and say that for additional fee you could pay attention?!?! I wish I have NOT prepaid for this service, because, in all honesty, they have not come even close to what CLEANING is , not mentioning DEEP cleaning. This is a very basic poorly done work. Not worth any money. Do not recommend and miss my cleaning lady who moved , already. more

From day one, Stacie and Corey have made us feel like they cared about us, and our home. They have done well in meeting our requests. Both are friendly, helpful and professional. The Eco-Star Green Cleaning employees who have cleaned our home are great workers. They do their jobs and they do it well. They treat our furnishings and property with care. They're cheerful and pleasant. We enjoy having them come to our home, especially David & Jorge. We like them enough to have already recommended Eco-Star Green Cleaning to our friends and family."" more

Too bad! Ecostar had one cleaning in my house & it was ALMOST a good job, they forgot a couple supplies & left the floors sticky with whatever product they used to clean. They did apologize before I even said anything & said they would remedy the problem the next time around. However, THEY NEVER RETURN PHONE CALLS. I have left 7 messages over 2 months and have never heard back from them. I wouldn't recommend them. more

No one EVER answers the phone, and it takes DAYS to get a call back. I'm sure the ""high call volume"" is going to diminish if their customer service doesn't improve. I had them clean my house once. The job they did was just ok, AND they told me they didn't have time to get to the living room....the most used room in my house! If I didn't have a pre paid voucher, I wouldn't bother calling them again. more

No one ever picks up. No one ever calls back. The first time we used them, we were told there had been a family emergency. We let it go, but the cleaning we got was so-so at best. Tried to use our last gift cert with them and again they are no where to be seen. This is theft and beyond bad business.. more

First, they're impossible to get a hold of.\r Second, I was so excited to go home to a clean house, but when I got there it seemed pretty haphazardly done. \r The sinks were clean, I'll give you that - but everything else looked like it had been gone over very quickly. \r The dishes were NOT done & just put into the dish dryer with lip marks still on the cups etc.\r Definitely not the work of two people cleaning in an hour-and-a-half, which is what I was told it would be. more

but I don't know! I've called three times and left messages twice requesting them to return my call and schedule a cleaning. No phone calls yet! Poor customer service, that's for certain! more

Staci and her team did an amazing job cleaning our new home for us. \r We felt very comfortable leaving the team in our home and trusted they would take care of everything. Staci was very easy to work with, friendly and accomodating. \r \r The best part about EcoStar is the piece of mind we got from having an all green clean. I often worry about the health risks and dangers of using chemical cleaners. I have friends who have lost pets to poisioning from household cleaning products. It is a relief to know our home will be spotless AND chemical free after EcoStar pays us a visit. \r \r I would reccomend Staci and her team to anyone and everyone!! more
