We arrived on June 21 at promptly 4 p.m. for our check-in. First impression as I walked up to the front door started off bad. The door frame as you walk into the lobby was rotting and looked like it was about to fall in. I walked into the lobby and was greeted by the odor of stale cigarette smoke. It happens at most motels but I expected a little better especially when you are renting a Phantasuite for $200/night.\r

Check-in goes well and my wife and I drive around to the back of the motel to get to our suite. You never get another chance to make a first impression, nor a second. As we pulled into our parking spot, there was a semi-truck parked out in the lot and two grungy looking men were sitting outside of it. Later, they were cooking their dinner on a hibachi grill.\r
