We booked two nights at Econolodge in Monticello NY. We cancelled both of the bookings. Still the manager choose to charge us for one of those nights. We gave them more than a week notice of cancellation and proved to him with our cancelation notices, still he refuses to refund our money. We have no choice but to go to police and charge manager patel with theft. He is rude, will not take our calls, or even return them to us. We gave him 3 months to refund our money. Finally this hotel is not affiliated with choice hotels anymore, but still advertise as if they are.\r \r BEWARE OF THIS SCAM HOTEL AND ITS MANAGER more

Our first time staying at the hotel. We got a good deal staying here at the Econo Lodge. They have an extraordinary breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic. I highly recommend this place! more

Very Helpful 8/18/2011

We were traveling with our kids to Canada. We stopped in the town for overnight and stayed at the Econo Lodge. The rooms were surprisingly clean and the front desk staff were very helpful. I would stay here again for the price that they were offering. more

Everyone was very helpful, especially the front desk personnel during our check in. They were very helpful and willing to go out of their way to help. The room was nice and clean, bed was comfy and the bathroom was well stocked with towels! Thanks for a good night of rest! more

We had a wonderful stay at this Econo Lodge. Front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast included many hot items as well as the usual selections. I would recommend this hotel to friends visiting the Monticello area. more
