I didn't have patience to start talking to a million different moving companies, so I just called Eco van lines up, following a recommendation I got. I was moving way out to the sticks, so my representative told me that I'd have to have a smaller truck go out to drop off my stuff. I was really happy with the job the men did, and the care they put into packing all my things. Delivery obviously took longer than if I was just driving it myself, but I was expecting that. The unloading also went well, and I was happy with the whole move process. more

Moving to the big city was a scary prospect, because I knew that I had to be prepared to spend a small fortune living in Manhattan. Eco gave me a good price in moving my few pieces to the city, and my representative Forest, automatically included a shuttle charge into the price, because he said that a large truck isn't able to legally access roads in the city. Makes sense, and I was happy that I knew about that ahead of time. Because of Forest's thoroughness with my move, there were no extra charges or anything like that; not on the pick up, nor the delivery end. It was a smooth move all around, and the guys did a really fantastic job disassembling and reassembling everything. more

I was moving out to NY to be closer to my family, and I sure had a lot of stuff to bring with me. Aside from three kids, and two cats and lizard, we had all of our stuff to bring! My husband's a total hoarder so we had literally hundreds of boxes, and old knicknacks. Eco gave us a good price on the whole move, so we went with them. They couldn't take our pets or kids, but laws are laws! They did a great job shifting through all of our things and packing all of it up. It all arrived in NY safe and sound, leaving us satisfied customers! more

As a single mother I really needed to keep the costs of my move down as much as possible. I got a million calls from different companies; I didn't necessarily go with the lowest price, since I needed to know that the price given to me is the final price, since any surprise additions would be really tough to deal with. Eco gave me a good price, and more importantly, after reading through their contract I knew that there would be no extra charges unless I added things. I was really happy with the way that the move went; I got a free crate for my large mirror, and they really took care packing it well. They worked quickly, and within a couple of hours they were gone; with all of my items. It gave me ample time to go ahead and clean up afterwards. more

I moved many times before, because my ex husband was in the military; when we broke up I told myself I'd never go through the hell of moving again....until I got a dream job in New Jersey. Now I was stuck organizing the whole move myself, and didn't know what to do. I remembered that one of our better moves was with Eco Van Lines, so I went ahead and gave them a call. I spoke to Earl, a relocation consultant, who walked me through the whole process of making a quote. I felt comfortable with all he was telling me, so I went with Eco. Packing of course was just horrible, but no moving company could make that easier on me, since I just didn't have the money to have the company pack up all the boxes. They did help me out a lot, though, by packing all of the TV's and the glass items I had. The delivery end went just as well, though it was a bit of an inconvenience to pay by cash. I was very satisfied with the move; Eco made moving tolerable. more

I have two year old twins and am a single mother, so I was really dreading the prospect of moving. I wanted to make the whole process simple and stress free for my kids' sake, and mine own. My brother recommended eco vanlines to me, so that eliminated the head ache of actually looking for a mover. I spoke with Forest who explained to me the process, and together we built a quote. The whole thing seemed simple enough; the contract outlined all of the things that were included, and all that wasn't. I reserved the move and crossed my fingers hoping that it would go well. With all the other things I had to do, I wasn't packed in time! I called up the office frantically to see if I could postpone the move, but they said it would be alright. The foreman who arrived on location was super nice, and offered to pack some boxes for me and a cheaper price. They worked quickly, and after a couple of hours it was all behind me. They did leave a bit of a mess, but I guess it's not really their job to clean. It was a really great move, and I would recommend eco vanlines for anyone looking for a quick move. more

I was wary about using a moving company because I knew that most companies put the items into storage and wait before delivering it out. On the other hand I couldn't afford a moving company that would do it straight for me, so I was a bit stuck. Eco provided me with the best option; their largest branch is right out of Nashville, so I knew it wouldn't take as long for the items to arrive. The price was so low that I even decided to add a bit extra for a guaranteed delivery date. The pick up went by smoothly, and I was impressed by the expertise in which they packed my curio cabinet. True enough Eco Van Lines stuck to their word and didn't deliver later than the date we had decided upon. I would definitely recommend Eco Van Lines for long distance moves delivering to less popular places. more

I was moving out of my small town to the big city of New York for an amazing job opportunity. I was nervous about the move since I had never moved before, and wasn't sure about the whole process. My relocation consultant Daniel talked me through it all, and the price he gave me was definitely lower than what I was anticipating. I didn't know too much how to look up different moving companies, but one search on google and I realized that Eco is a reputable company. The move itself went smoothly enough; I was worried for the men since it seemed like they were really carrying way too much, but I guess I underestimated their strength. I needed a shuttle service on delivery, which Daniel warned me about, since I moved to the middle of Manhattan. With the smaller truck everything went by fine on the delivery end. Throughout the process I was impressed by eco's customer service, and their ease of service. more

Moving with a family is just about the last thing you possibly could want to do in the heat of the summer. At first we were thinking of doing the move ourselves, but we saw the hard time our neighbors were having with it, and decided that it would be better to just go with a full service moving company. My husband was adamant about having the price be as low as possible, and Eco's numbers were looking great. I personally cared more about the quality of the service, and I wanted to be sure that some of our antiques were to be handled correctly; and again Eco won out with a great reputation. They definitely lived up to their reputation; they were punctual, swift, thorough, and polite. Customer service was successful in giving me updates regarding the delivery. They really took a lot of the fuss out of moving. more

I was moving my three bedroom home to Texas, but I knew my load would be large, because I'm a taxidermist by hobby, and needed those things moved as well. Eco gave me a great price on my full packing service, and my moving consultant, Sonya was really knowledgeable about the correct way to move taxidermy. I was a bit disappointed that Eco wasn't able to move my ammunition and shotguns, but it is understandable. The movers that arrived were professional, and took great care not only with my taxidermy, but also with the rest of my household goods. They were taking their time, but I could tell that they were being very thorough. Delivery arrived about a week later, and their thoroughness showed through because nothing was damaged. I couldn't be happier with how good Eco did. more

I was moving out to California to start a new job, and I was really nervous about it. I had never moved before, and as an artist I have a lot of artwork that I was worried about surviving the 2000+ mile trip. My daughter recommended me Eco Van Lines, as she had used them for a move previously, and I figured it would be a good place to start. I spoke with Earl, my moving consultant, and together we went over a list of all of the items to be moved. I expressed my concerns about the artwork, but we went through all of the dimensions and he put it in his system and got me a price, also for packing the art. The men that arrived in my house were very professional, and showed up with way more packing materials than I though I needed, but in the end they used it all up. I obviously lack knowledge in how to pack. I was really impressed by the great job that they did with the packing; none of my artwork was damaged at all! more

Moving is never easy, especially when moving a large family. I recently got a promotion at work that came with a relocation, so I had to up and move the whole family out to Pennsylvania. To make things a bit easier on ourselves we decided to go with a full packing service, and not lift a finger for the move itself. Eco's crew were very professional, and really got the job done well. It did take the whole day to pack everything up, and they had to come back the next day in order to complete the job, but the loading went by pretty quickly. They definitely earned the large tip that they received from me. The delivery end was pretty smooth, too; though in retrospect I would have paid even double for an un packing service; it took us about two weeks to unpack everything! I would definitely recommend Eco to anyone who's looking for professional packers and movers. more

I used to move fairly often when I was younger, because my father was in the military, so I was no stranger to moving. This was the first time, however, that I was moving as an adult, and would be taking care of all of the details. I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing when looking for a mover, and honestly, I chose eco van lines because I liked the name. Only afterwards did I realize what a huge risk I was taking, but I was happy that everything turned out to be a pleasant surprise, rather than a nasty shock. I made sure to update my inventory a day before the move with Sonya my moving consultant. The movers that arrived on the day of the move packed everything up real fast, and took a check from me. It was as easy as that! The delivery end was just as simple....I don't remember moves from my childhood being as easy as moving with eco vanlines! more

I'm a single mother, and was totally stressed about the prospect of moving. I didn't know the first thing about moving, and was scared that I would make a huge mistake in choosing a company, or packing. I spoke with Sam from eco van lines and he really gave me some great tips. He explained to me the different types of estimates, and gave me some fantastic packing tips. Payment was easy to make, and the day of the move was not an ordeal at all; they came, loaded, and left. Whenever I wanted an update about delivery customer service updated me. I don't know if eco vanlines is necessarily eco friendly, but they're definitely customer friendly. more

I was moving to the big city of Philadelphia to accept a promotion at work. I didn't have too many things to take, since I was moving out of, and into a furnished apartment, but I did have some valuables like antique family heirlooms that were of great importance to me. I was recommended Eco Van Lines by a friend who had used them to transport a piano, so I knew that they would be good with valuable things. The movers that arrived on the day of the move were few, but they worked efficiently and fast. The moving blankets that they used were really high quality, and they were really treating the furniture like it was their own. It was a successful move, and in the end nothing was damaged on the long journey from Florida to Philly. more

It had been my life's dream to move out to San Francisco, and after my recent divorce I decided it would be the perfect time to move out there. I had half my house to move, everything that my ex let me take out, and together with my tools, it wasn't such a small load. Eco van lines had some of the most competitive rates for a cross country move, and I felt that I was making the right move once I saw eco's license with the department of transportation. The pick up was simply a pleasure; the men on site were polite, and worked quickly and efficiently. Payment wasn't even a problem; I just handed the foreman a check for the previously agreed upon amount. Delivery took a while, like all cross country moves, but the delivery itself was pleasant also, and none of my items were damaged. I would definitely recommend eco vanlines for cross country moves at a great price. more

Very Consistent Movers 5/30/2012

I was moving on out to Missouri to be closer to my brother who was starting a family. As a single woman I don't have lots of things, except of course for all my boxes of books. Eco gave me a budget price for the move, but more importantly I felt like I wouldn't get ripped off with them, since their pricing method was sound. My sales representative Soul told me to check up every company I speak with, with the Department of Transportation, and I liked their clean record with them. The day of the move was smooth; not lots that could go wrong with such a small move anyway. Delivery took a while, but I was expecting that, so I was staying at my brother's house in the meanwhile. Nothing was damaged and all in all it was a good move. more

Great Minimum Move 5/28/2012

I was only moving a couple of things to moving in with my girlfriend in Michigan. Eco had really great rates for minimum moves. I could have driven the stuff up myself, but I didn't want all that heavy lifting, and paying for gas on a truck. They were honest with me in terms of pricing, and delivery times. They handled my items with care, and took heed to the fragile boxes. It was a simple, straightforward move, which I guess is rare to find nowadays, so I wanted to take time out and commend eco for their great service. more

Moving to the city 5/24/2012

My husband is a city rat, so we decided to me on up to Chicago. We didn't have anyone helping us out with the move, so we were looking for a budget option. I wasn't about to be hauling furniture into a truck and driving it myself, though that's what the hubby wanted. Eco gave us a great price, and I was impressed by the good reviews online, so I decided to go with them. We went through garage sale after garage sale getting rid of all the stuff we got, and our sales representative Shelly was real patient with us with all the changes. And I thought her accent was a hoot. The move went real good, and I was happy with the service we got. more

great move to arkansas 5/23/2012

Huh, where's Arkansas? That's what I asked my boss when he told me I was moving there in order to get my promotion. I was like, alright, not too bad, right? I talked to a billion moving companies (if you've ever put your info online you'd know I ain't joking) but I liked talking to Lorna from eco so I went with them. Lorna reminded me a day before to update my inventory, and because of it everything went real good with the move. I'm used to moving myself, but I figured if the company's paying, why not? My stuff got there a couple of days later, and now I'm trying to find something to do in Arkansas. more
