16 Years and Counting 5/21/2011

I was a client when they were called ""Le Bon Cleaners"" and still am now that they are ""Eco Cleaners"". I agree with the last review that they do not shout about their eco practices but I know that even before they switched they always encouraged recycling the hangers and plastic. more

I had my wedding gown cleaned and preserved at Eco Cleaners and the results were fabulous! It's almost too pretty to store. Great service! more

Best Dry Cleaner! 2/16/2010

This is bi-far the best dry cleaners in town! My family and I have been using them for a few years now because of how nice the owner is and quality of cleaning. Dry cleaning will probably always be a bit ""un-eco"" but the fact that they are trying is whats stands out! I would recomend them to anyone. more

Nice experience 2/16/2010

I don't know why the bad reviews. I've been going to Eco for about year. Actually, ever since the changed owners I've been going there. Their pricing is inline with area that they are in and they always do a great job on my stuff. Owner is on site and a very nice. Heck, there's always a Prius outside, so even the owner is into ""eco"" living. more

This establishment is an 'eco' friendly drycleaner service that I highly recommend. Their service is always friendly and will go out of the way to make sure their customers are more than satisfied. The owner is very knowledgeable of the products he uses for his service. I have been going to EcoCleaners for years and have recommended my family and friends to go there as well. They are all very happy with the service! more

Best drycleaner service in town. This is an 'eco' friendly establishment and the owner is very knowledgeable in the products they use to clean and protect your clothes. They have great service and are always going out of their way to make sure that the customers are more than satisfied. They even load your clothes in the car for you! I have recommended Eco Cleaners to my family and friends and they are all more than happy with the service. Great business and a great owner. I highly recommend it! NOT ""Eco"" at all 12/28/2009

They are considered to be an ""eco"" cleaners, but in fact they are hardly eco at all. Besides being ridiculously priced for services that are not ""eco"" or green, their employees know absolutely nothing about what supposedly makes them eco. They misquote, can't educate on the practices they are supposed to be providing and are rude. The one real eco thing that they supposedly do is recycle the hangers. They say that they use hydrocarbon instead of perc. Hydrocarbon is not green at all. It is made from fossil fuels and pollutes the earth just as much if not more than petroleum. I will NOT be returning or recommending their services to anyone. Customer service is unbelievably bad! This place is an absolute joke!!!! I wrote Jimmy, the owner, but no response so far...... I would also give it zero stars if I could. Pros: non Cons: everything more

They lie 3/20/2009

I went to the one on Kirby. We moved to the area so I went in and asked how much they charged for men's shirts. She told me .99 per shirt with dry cleaning. I asked her how much the pants were to clean and she told me $3.50 each. Imagine my surprise when I arrived to pick up the pants and they charge for the pants had gone up by over $4.00!!!! The pants were almost $8.00 a pair to clean! I will be reporting them, and obviously will not be returning. I didn't even want to give them one star. Pros: there are none Cons: they are liars more

Violation of the Privacy Act. 11/3/2007

On Thursday I went to pick-up my suit which was missing. The cashier couldn't find it. I obtained the Mgrs. and owner, Jimmy's number. I asked the cashier to call or email me when she had information. I provided her with my cell number and work email in writing and she placed it in a drawer. Two men were standing in line. At 2:48am that morning, my cell phone rang. It was one of the male Customers that was in line with me. The cashier gave the Customer my information. Cons: They give out your private information to customers. more

Surprised they are still in business 7/31/2007

Le Bon cleaners did anything but meet even minimum expectations. I told the person at the front counter that my clothes needed to be dry cleaned. When I returned to pick them up, the same person tells me that she ""didn't think they needed to be dry cleaned,"" and so they were simply laundered. Every single item was destroyed. When I call to let them know about this, the same girl answers the phone, only to argue with me. Not only does she argue with me, but the owner himself of this beat up ""business"" argues as well. So, now I must replace $200 worth of clothes. Absolutely unbelievable experience. Pros: same day service Cons: same day disaster more

Worst Dry Cleaner Ever 7/16/2007

This is the worst possible dry cleaner you could use. The Holcomb location lost 2 pieces of my clothing and denied it for over a week. They told me my clothes were there, I went 4 times and I still don't have my clothes. They also charged me for the dry cleaning my missing clothes and I have never been refunded. I had to call three different locations just to find out how to proceed in getting a refund, which I still haven't received. I have called the owner 15-20 times and never got a return phone call. I finally got him on the phone one day, you can't leave him a voice mail because it is always full. He stated he was sending me a check, I have yet to see the check. This place has awful customer service when something goes wrong and don't expect to see a refund without legal action. Some of the employees are rude and the owner takes no responsibility for losing your clothing. Cons: Lost my clothes and still no refund after calling 3-4x per a week for a month and a half. more

Don't bother if you have something valuable 8/31/2006

I took my daughter's hand made silk christening gown and bonnet to Le Bon because of the high ratings on Citysearch. To say the least I am livid with them. I took the dress in on Monday, and on the slip it said dry cleaning would be complete on Thurs., great! So I send my husband in to get it on Friday and it's still hanging there uncleaned. That's not even the half of it. They picked her bonnet up off of the floor!!! What a joke! I don't know how they keep customers if this is how they treat garments. I wanted this gown to be an heirloom piece, now I don't know if the bonnet is even going to be used again. We live in Pearland and I made a special trip into Houston to take her gown to Le Bon - I am beyond mad! Pros: people at the desk were nice when garment was taken in Cons: everything else more

Best Around Town 5/31/2006

I have tried them all - Craigs n/k/a Men's Warehouse, Pilgrim etc. This is the best dry cleaner around town. Their attention to detail whether it is stains or broken buttons is impeccable. Courteous and friendly staff. The owner is very attentive and great with his customers. Try them out - you won't go back to the other guys. more

I've been going to this cleaners for almost a decade, and I can honestly say the quality and service are consistently excellent. This is one of the few businesses where the owner is ""hands on"", and usually on premises. He's very friendly and a pretty funny, young guy. If you have a problem with anything, just ask him and he'll fix it, usually on the spot. Also, this is the original LeBon cleaners flagship plant and pickup station. more
