Best

I have had many massages throughout my life because of my chronic back. Some friends of mine got me a gift certificate for my birthday to Eastside Oasis. Nicole, the receptionist,...

I booked a couples massage with the spa and was really excited- from the reviews it appeared that this spa would be great. The phone service was impeccable...until we arrived at ...

A very personal environment where you feel like family. 9/16/2006

I like the fact that they remember your first name and treat customers with respect. It's a very affordable spa that renders excellent services. They have a variety of services from massages to manicures and pedicures. The location is excellent because it's a peaceful environment away from traffic. The place is nice it doesn't have the frilly lighting and fake environment. It's a relaxing environment where one can be rejuvenated and feel at home. The staff is very professional and listens to what the customer wants implemented. more

Dirty and Unpleasant 9/11/2006

Rude owner left me waiting at the front desk for nearly 10 minutes while she visited with the chiropractor's personnel in the same facility. The reception area smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Facility is dark, and dirty. I would not have anything other than a massage at this place for fear of the absence of sanitary/cleanliness. I don't think my standards are too high, this place really is dirty. Pros: Kristen is a great massage therapist Cons: High priced for such a low end facility more

the best pedicure! 8/6/2006

I just wanted to share that I got a spa pedi from Lisa and she gave me the best pedi I have ever had! She began my service by asking me exactly what I wanted done, and did just that. She paid great attention to detail and and gave a fantastic foot and leg massage. I definitely recommend going to see Lisa for your pedicures (and I made my next appointment before I left and added a manicure to it)! Pros: parking, prices, package deals Cons: NONE more

Worse than a beauty school 7/19/2006

My friend and I did the massage, facial, manicure, salt scrub, and swedish shower--what a disappointment even for the low price. The massage hurt (even after asking for lighter pressure), towels looked like they were 9 years old, the swedish shower was out of hot water after my friend had used it, and no soap in bathroom. I was so cold when I got out that I had to warm up in the sauna again. The manicure lady spent the whole time telling me how bad her life was going. The spa itself looks like it is an old dentist's office--it's pretty cramped and not a relaxing atmosphere. I seriously do not know how it has this high of a rating from other users. more

Best spa experience 6/30/2006

This is the BEST kept secret in Bellevue!!! I have been going to Gene Juarez for years. I felt so much more relaxed, and the spa did what was intended...made me feel great, rather than just ritzi with the HOPE of feeling great. Just a massage, and 3 days later, still no numb fingers! Thanks! Pros: All in 1 room experience Cons: none more

Amazing! 6/29/2006

I was recently involved in an auto accident and have been going to the Eastside Oasis Day Spa for massage therapy. (They accept P.I.P.!) Eve, my massage therapist, is amazing! Not only does she give a GREAT massage, she is extremely friendly and caring. What has really blown me away is her genuine passion for helping others. She is one of the few individuals (since my accident) that's taken the time to really listen to my concerns and address them. She's very knowledgable and has educated me a great deal on what's going on with my body. I know I can count on Eve to help me calm my nerves and ease my pain, and really look forward to my appointments. The rest of the staff has been fantastic as well. I'm always greeted with a smile when I arrive. I HIGHLY recommend that you go there! They offer a variety of services, which I can't wait to try out once I recover. :-) Pros: hours, parking, STAFF Cons: I'm always tempted to spend $ on spa products I don't need. ;-) more

Awesome massage 5/26/2006

I've been to the Eastside Oasis a few times, and they have the most amazing massage therapists. What really makes this place great is that it's a small business, with lots of little extras that you won't find in the larger chains. The montly package specials are total bargains- I got a foot soak, beverage, infrared sauna, body scrub, scalp massage, and shower in addition to a full hour massage for under $100! That's a deal you won't find anywhere else. For people who are tired of paying extra for a fancy location, and who want great service this place is great. Pros: Service Cons: Location more

ummmmm... this is a spa? 5/10/2006

I was excited when my fiance and I decided to go get the couple's massage at Eastside Oasis to relax from wedding planning stress, only to come out not only unrested but also perturbed. After waiting about 15 minutes to be taken to the room, we were given warm foot baths to relax us before our massage. Well, we sat with our feet in the foot bath for so long that it became cold before anyone came back! We estimated that we sat there for at least 20 minutes. The massage was mediocre and the atmosphere wasn't particularly relaxing. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Pros: parking, value Cons: service, timeliness, staff more

Not recommended! 4/30/2006

My friend and I were so excited about trying this spa due to the reviews here. Usually when leaving a spa, you should feel euphoric and happy, not angry and upset. We both has 3 1/2 hour packages. I was done in 3 hours (my facial was cut 30 minutes short, without an explanation), and my friend was still waiting for her manicure at the 3 1/2 hr. mark. We had to leave and she never got her manicure and still paid for it! The atmosphere was depressing and unprofessional. When checking out, we were promised a call from the owner, which was never received. My email was not returned. I would suggest going to a beauty school instead of this place, if on a budget. I'm now questioning the authenticity of some of these reviews. more

Awesome Experience 3/14/2006

I was treated to a Valentine's Day package at Eastside Oasis and found it to be a totally awesome, relaxing experience. It began with an oil of lemon grass foot soak as I savored a cup of herbal tea and listened to relaxing sounds of nature. Next, a lemon grass body scrub; rejuvenating and relaxing. Next, a Swiss Shower massaged all my muscles followed by a 1 hour body massage, including my scalp. Thought I had died and gone to heaven. Another cup of tea and a delicious snack before my facial with Christina, a very personable, knowledgeable, skilled esthetician. My face felt like a baby's bottom when she finished. I was treated like royalty by every staff member I came into contact with. O.K., the atmosphere isn't quite an Oasis, but the price is right and the service matches the best of spas. Pros: Service, Price, Experience more

Facials 2/28/2006

I went for a facial with some of my girlfriends. Since it was my first facial, I didn't really have any expectations, until I compared notes with my friends later. During the facial, I asked my aesthetician what over-the-counter products I can use for my skin. She basically told me: none! and that they are cheap for a reason. She kept going on and on about their spa products and how wonderful it is. She did some extractions on my face too but that also surprised me because she did not tell me about it before pinching my nose. I squirmed because it was like a surprise attack. When I got home, I was so thirsty. Turns out both of my girlfriends were also offered something to drink at the end of their sessions. Needless to say.. my experience went from ok to not-so-good. Pros: inexpensive Cons: sales pressure, lack of service more

Try it--You'll LIKE It !!! 1/8/2006

My wife and I went to Eastside Oasis for a couple's massage-same room-and it was one of the best Christmas gifts my wife said she'd ever had--one hour massage, foot soak with beverage, manicure, pedicure, body scrub, swiss shower, the works, all at a VERY reasonable price. We know where we'll be spending our special occasion days! We both sincerely highly recommend Eastside Oasis! Pros: atmoshere, staff, skill, price more

Best Waxing Anywhere 1/8/2006

I have searched high and low for a place to get a good brazzilian. And this spa by far is the best one I have ever got. When I walked in the owner greeted me right away and quickly escorted me back. Sharon the woman who did my brazzilian was very nice and made me feel comfortable right away. Sharon did a great job to make sure that all the hair was removed and nothing was left behind. I would not go anywhere else. Pros: Inexpensive, Quick service more

Excellent Experience 1/8/2006

I highly recommend you check out Eastside Oasis Day Spa. I saw Nicole for massage and she really got rid of the aching and tension in my neck and upper back I was experiencing from extended computer work over the past several days. My wife has a facial with Sharon, who she felt did a superb treatment, and had her nails done, and was quite pleased with that, also. We both felt we got great value for money well spent, and we both will be going back. Pros: Very Pleasant, good parking, inexpensive Cons: none more

GREAT FACIALS EVERYTIME! 1/7/2006

I have been having Sharon do my Facials for over a year now, I always look forward to my facials. She is great! I have been using Dermalogica products since starting to see her and I really like the products especially the Daily Microfoliant. Her technique and extractions and waxing (Eyebrows) are the best! Try her and see. I have also seen Dina and Christina they were good but my favorite is Sharon, tell her Tia sent you! Pros: Sharon, Free Easy Parking, Affordable Cons: NONE more

NEVER go there or recommend it to anyone 12/27/2005

This place has no customer service. Its cheap and that all there is to it. They made me wait for 45 mins and no one apologized for it. The oasis spa package that I went there for said 3 1/2 hrs...its was barely 3 hrs. The place has no decor. Its not welcoming at all. Stay away from it unless there is no other place in the world open. Even so, I am never going back there. more

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE-try this spa ! 12/15/2005

I have been going to Eastside Oais for about 3 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The manager always remembers my name and makes me feel welcomed and appreciated. The place is very comfortable and very clean. All the staff are friendly and skilled (especially Wendy my favorite massage). I love the seasonal Value Spa Packages on the website w/facial & nails included. I have all my waxing (Sharon is my favorite) and gel nails (I like Thuy)done here also. A great place to be pampered and unwind from a stressful week. Pros: Heated Tables, Inexpensive, Free Parking Cons: Lights in Parking Are more

Great spa! 11/20/2005

I moved to WA two yeard ago. I was sad to leave my old spa in Oregon and hoping to find a new one. I tried three others that were so so but just not that great for what they were charging. My husband got me a massage for my birthday at Eastside Oasis. I figured it would be just ok, but it was great. I went back the next month and was even more impressed. My husband and I went on V-day to have couples massage and it was so nice and peaceful. Just last weekend I went for a 2 hr spa day package for only $80, the value is what keeps me coming back. The front desk is friendly and always remember my name. You can also check out there web site to find monthly specials, so easy!! more

Great Experience!! 11/16/2005

I first went to Eastside Oasis because I kept getting a hamstring pull from weekend baseball, and after Wendy worked on me, I was able to play without any pain. I really liked the whole experience; so I decided to take my wife last week for a special anniversary gift. The best thing I ever did! My wife can hardly quit talking about it,and she's already looking at our calendar. The atmosphere is really relaxing, the people are great, and we both couldn't be happier with the experience--the foot soak, the sauna. the herbal wrap, the swiss shower, and then an absolutely fantastic massage, about 3 hours altogether. Guys, do the right thing, and take your lady to Eastside Oasis. Tell them Larry sent you! I guarantee you'll be appreciated! Pros: friendly, professional, fair price more
