Worst

We adopted a lovely puppy from a local rescue. Part of the adoption fee was supposed to include a visit to see Dr. Heller. After a forty minute wait we finally got in to see him...

I have been bringing my dog to EIAH for a long time. I have always had a wonderful experience. That is until I had the displeasure of meeting Jason Heller. He has got to be the most passive-aggressive, arrogant vet that I have ever met. He may have some good points, but his delivery is absolutely aweful. If you don't agree with him, or question him, he can be nasty. I will request not to see him next time my dog visits. If they cannot be accommodating, I will take my dog elsewhere. more

I've been coming with my pets to the East Islip Animal Hospital for many years, and am always very satisfied with the service. I will continue to bring my "furry children" to them for years to come, as I trust the wonderful staff and Drs there as if they were my own doctors. more

We adopted a lovely puppy from a local rescue. Part of the adoption fee was supposed to include a visit to see Dr. Heller. After a forty minute wait we finally got in to see him. Our visit quickly declined. He became agitated and verbally aggressive after learning we keep indoor/outdoor cats and don't agree with his informed thoughts about the humanity of this. more

As an animal rescue owner and operator, I have had the great fortune of being welcomed with open arms by the caring, compassionate, and dedicated staff here at East Islip Animal Hospital.\r Upon entering, you are immediately greeted by familiar faces that work together as a family. I have never felt as though I were a mere customer being accommodated, but part of a team that shares the same love for each and every animal that comes into their care. \r There is always an open dialogue between myself and both Dr. Jason Heller and Dr. Amanda MacDonald. Every treatment plan has always been a detailed discussion between myself and the Doctor. Every question answered with expertise and patience. Every decision that has been made for my pets and rescues has been with security and confidence because I was informed of all options prior to committing to a treatment plan. It has been an educational experience as well. I have never been made to feel as though I was not a part of their care. \r I am more

East Islip Animal Hospital is a joke 7/6/2009

This animal hospital is the worst. The manager there has a terrible attitude the workers are not trained to there fullest they need to get rid of that manager of theirs and find someone who knows what they are doing.. The doctors there are not bad except that female doctor can you say attitude if you love your pet don't go to east islip animal go to Islip or the original East Islip animal hospital on main street in Islip i brought my dog there and they did nothing.. more

Best Animal Hospital Around. 1/26/2009

The East Islip Animal Hospital is the best hospital around. The doctors are caring. The staff is VERY knowledgeable. The techinicians are so kind and caring. My dog came in for his yearly vaccines, and i had never heard of heartworm pills, and they explained everything to me, they are THE BEST!!! Dr Macdonald and Dr Heller. Pros: great service, knowledgeable, kind, caring, clean, boarding, grooming. Cons: prices are a little high, well worth it though more

Nice Place For Your Animals 11/30/2008

This isn't my regular vet but they had an awesome special for microchipping. I brought my four dogs in and they were great with them. Very friendly, place was very clean and the vet was very knowledgeable, we were in and out. I highly recommend them. more

I'd recommend this vet hospital 11/24/2008

We took some cats here that we found outside and they gave the cats excellent care. Price was reasonable, staff was friendly and the doctor was very good. more

WORST PLACE EVER 7/30/2007

I WENT THERE CAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS CHEAP. THATS EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS CHEAP SERVICE...THE DOC EVEN SAID YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, WELL THAT MUCH IS TRUE, I WENT DOWN THE BLOCK TO EAST ISLIP VET GROUP AND GOT GREAT SERVICE AT THE SAME PRICE.... more
