Bought $40 in gift cards for them 2 years back when they had the powers location (which closed shortly after due to tax fraud). I went to the downtown location to use my gift cards and they tell me they are not the same restaurant. The back of the card clearly states the downtown address for use. Then they tell me it's because they devalued the cards due to not using them. I feel completely ripped off. I really don't feel like supporting a company who won't take care of invonvenienced customers. Don't buy gift cards!!! more

Terrible Experience! 12/7/2011

Not a fan! For a restaurant downtown that knows people need quick service, they sure take their sweet time. My overpriced to-go order took an abnormally long amount of time, and then it was overcooked. They gave me plain fries instead of the seasoned fries that the menu said were included. The worst part...The staff couldn't even be bothered to smile. I will not be going back here and I do not recommend anyone else waste their time or money on this lousy excuse for a restaurant. more

The owner / manager was a Bitch, very rude. So why should the Cust. service be any better, it wasnt. The service was worse then the food. This dining experience was nothing like the east coast. If you like horrible food & crappy service, go here. more

The Service, Food, & Management are horrible. This restaurant is not worth the time or travel. The service is slow and rude. The food is terrible. When i let the manager / owner know, she was very rude! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. more

Not a good first experience 9/5/2011

While the food was very tasty and plentiful, our server was not at all attentive. There was no condiments placed on the table, cream and sugar had to be asked for 2 times, coffee refills went passed me twice before my friend finally had to call the host over, we had asked for a second fork several times, It was finally brought out but no napkins. I will go back for the excellent food and hope next time the waitress has had more training in customer service. more

East Coast brings it to Colorado! 8/10/2011

Well,Sunday is my day.I get to go wherever I choose.I always choose East Coast Deli.The food is always good.Its super affordable because they place coupons in weekly flyer magazines.The wait staff are always nice and the food comes out hot and it is good.I love the French Toast w/Fresh in season berries,or the scrambles.Im kind of a health nut so I can be picky.They give me everything I want always and the coffee is great.My husband is a sandwich guy so hes has a large variety.We come here almost every weekend,We will try dinner soon! more

Great food, good service 3/15/2011

I've been eating here for several years. I highly recommend their egg salad sammys & the potato salad. Just got some take-out and it seriously hit the spot! The service was prompt & courteous, and the food was really good. Their sandwiches are HUGE - I recommend getting a half-sandwich, it's the size of a regular sammy anywhere else. Good spot for a cost-effective & satisfying lunch. more

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE 9/21/2010

One star doesn't do it justice. What ever happened to a smile and thank you. I came in, ordered a breakfast sandwich to go, my change was just tossed into my hand and my sandwich just given to me without a thank you, a smile or any type of pleasantry. East Coast Deli spends a lot on advertising, maybe they should spend more TIME evaluating their staff and then may be more customers would come back. more

Hmmm...I'm not sure what the other people posting on here are talking about, however, I have been to East Coast deli consistantly since I first discovered it back in 2005 and have always had great experiences. Anyone looking for consistently great food and service should give E.C deli a try. Some people are simply too picky and like to complain about every little thing! Don't let their foolish complaints deter you! You won't regret it :) Pros: Food, atmosphere, quality service Cons: More locations more

Horrible Experience!!! 1/9/2009

My experience here was horrible! I waited over twenty minutes for a cup of soup and a small side salad. Two people sat down after I'd ordered and recieved their food before me. The soup was disgusting and the server was incredibly rude. Customer service is atrocious. They don't care about their customers at all. Food was okay. Customer service was absolutely horrible. The waitress had been rude throughout my time there, so i figured okay...1.00 tip! But apparently she thought she deserved otherwise. I got on the computer later to check my bank statement and saw that my lunch had become 25.00, and not the 22.00 i intended. Only a couple bucks difference but enough to get anyone ticked off, right? None of the negative posts on this board are true!! The food is amazing, the service is highly professional and the waiters and waitresses are always fair and care very much about their customers. Great Food.....Terrible Service 11/18/2006

The food is great and the portions generous... But the wait staff ignores customers, before, during, and after the meal! We've been there three times and the service is consistenty bad; not just to us but to many other customers. We've even had a waitress leave work without turning our table over to another waitress! We'll still go there for the food...if we have lots of time to spare and don't mind getting our own drinks; otherwise we've found a new NY-style deli. Pros: Food Cons: Service more
