We have been going to East Charleston Animal Hospital since 2003 when it was a 24 hr Emergency Hospital and have always gotten the best care and best prices in town. They care about your animals as if they were their own and it shows in the way they are so relaxed around them. I will be comming here until they close down which i hope wont be for a very long time. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK more

Dr. Ylarde is by far the best veterinarian my dog Rusty has ever had. Her knowledge, compassion and down to earth personality is just what you need when your pet is sick and in need of care. Recently my dog became very ill and Dr. Ylarde went above and beyond to diagnose, treat and care for him as if he were her own pet. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hospital environment is relaxed and unpretentious. Her rates are extremely reasonable and it's evident that your pets health is the hospitals #1 priority. I now take my dog there every Saturday for doggy daycare and he loves it! Great Animal Hospital 7/11/2010

Dr. Ylarde and her staff are really great people. They took good care of my puppy. This is my first dog and i was a little scared, but they made me feel good. My puppy Hank had to stay a few nights, and I was aloud to go visit him at anytime I wanted to. on my second visit Julie (Dr.) Ylarde let me and my dog go into a vacant room so we could hangout together. Julie put a big fluffy blanket on the floor for me and Hank to sit on. Now Hank is home with me and doin great! Thanks for his prescription medication. Which Dr. Ylarde went into full detail about how and when to give them. Dr. Ylarde and her staff saved my puppy from a deadly virus known as Parvovirus. Thank You so very much! Hank is happy to have a Vet he can call his own! Pros: Great Staff more

best animal hospital i have ever been to. 3/2/2010

After shopping around at several vet hospitals, I came across East Charleston Animal Hospital. They are awesome!!! The vet Dr. Ylarde actually got on the floor with my cat. She was amazing and is also the new owner of the hopsital. It is very evident that she loves animals. The procedures my cat had done had been quoted by other vets at $600.00. I paid 1/3 of the costs and had 3 times as much done. They will be my new permanent primary care animal hospital. Pros: great service very affordable more

great new doctor 12/8/2009

Great doctor. My dog was great after surgery. Up and running around after 2 days like they said. When I called VCA, they would have charged me 3 times more. Go to East Charleston instead. Pros: most affordable friendliest in town more

great affordable clinic 11/10/2009

Was referred there by ARP after I adopted a dog. They did the spay and it was great. They were very kind and the whole procedure was really cheap. Great staff. Pros: great affordable clinic more
