I have endometriosis and it is Dr. Gentry's amazing advice and counsel that has kept me pain free for many years. After going to my initial gynecologist for a number of years, I wanted a second opinion. Dr. Gentry not only gave me a better understanding of my disease, she provided great insight into alternative options for pain management. My initial gynecologist put me on Depo Provera to control my pain. I had been on depo for many years. When I told Dr. Gentry, she asked if had a bone scan recently and if I had not, I really needed to. Given the medication, my age and being Asian (Asian women have a higher risk of developing osteoporosis), it is very important that I monitor my bone density. Dr. Gentry made the extra effort in sending me articles from the Journal of American Medical Association on recent studies of Depo Provera and bone loss. Dr. Gentry keeps me updated on the latest medical innovations on managing my endometriosis. Needless to say, I feel extremely lucky to have Dr. Gentry monitoring my health! more

Dr. Gentry is fantastic. I discovered her a few years ago when I was dealing with a girl medical issue - long story short, she was amazing in dealing with a scary problem. She spends lots of time with her patients and is great with questions. I had outpatient surgery and have been fine ever since! She's definitely a popular doctor, so call early to make an appointment. Dr. Chan (the other OB-GYN in her practice) is also fantastic, so see her if you can't get in to Dr. Gentry. Five stars! more

"Dr. Gentry ROCKS! I was having horrible periods for years. I started missing work, and staying home because it was just that awful. My general doctor just kept giving me various birth control pills...yuk!..Then I heard Doctor Gentry who actually advises alternative medicine, acupuncture AND does that 'minimally invasive surgery' thing. She immediately took me off the pills and checked hormone levels and sent me for some other tests. She found the problem and did a quick procedure to fix it. I am cured! I no longer have to worry about the wicked curse every month. The procedure, hysteroscopy, may have even helped my fertility. I will be with this doctor for years! and Just like the other review, yep, I had to wait. She has a ton of patients, but she really does make you feel like you are her focus when she is with you. She always made sure she didn't talk to me in 'doctor-speak' as she called it, and made sure I understood the plan. She is worth the wait! Her staff were very helpful. I think she has replaced all of the cranky ones of the past....may take awhile,...but it's all good! I can't say enough good things about her." more
