I was a skeptic at first but this company came recommended by several neighbors. Statefarm would not insure my new home eventhough I had been with them for over 30 years! I felt like I was leaving the only insurance company I knew. I was concerned at the time if the insurance would actually work but I thought I would never have to use it. Boy was I wrong, we had severe roof damage with hurricane Jeanne. East Bay took care of everything. They are a very busy office but they always took time for me. Everything was settled in a very short period of time. This year I finally moved my auto insurance and wow I should have done that sooner. I saved $325 every 6 months and added umbrella coverage. I've actually had insurance with this company since I was 16 on my parent's policy. The rates have always been fair and the claims have been handled very well. I'm in their preferred driver program (finally) and I haven't found a company that can come close to the rates, Statefarm, GEICO, Allstate, Progressive, I've quoted them all. I don't really enjoy purchasing insurance but I'm glad to actually be able to visit an office and deal with a professional one on one, not just an 800 number. Pros: good rates, great coverage, hometown Cons: none yet more
