My husband stayed here for our first vacation getaway in four years, and it was a superb experience. Sheila was on the front desk for most of our visit, and was extremely friendly. I used to live in Savannah about 20 years ago, so we knew our way around, but she helped us with making dinner reservations for a new restaurant on River Street. The Inn had a great historic feel to it, and we wound up on the first floor with a small courtyard--she informed me that they are pet friendly-we don't have pets, but I friends with small dogs who enjoy traveling with them! The guest books in the rooms are a beautiful touch, allowing visitors to share their experiences with others. the complimentary breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese are a very civilized touch. It gave us the opportunity to slow down in mid-afternoon and relax before dinner.
