A few words to express my experience towards east bay catering\r - Terrible food\r - No concept of time\r - Uncoordinated\r - Very unprofessional\r - Highly NOT RECOMMENDED\r \r I had a lunchin at my company not too long ago so I saved my appetite since it was a thank you from our boss. Supposedly they were supposed to have everything delivered by 12:00pm, but that was not the case. We waited until 12:30 until my coworker had to call and see what time we would be expecting them since they were already late. They told us that they were on their way and will be here in 10 minutes due to ""traffic"" on the bay bridge. Honestly I commute to work on Bay Bridge everyday and traffic at 12:30 pm?!?!\r \r As we waited and or hunger started to get overwhelming then we noticed it was already 1:05pm and they were still not here!!! My coworker called again then they explained that they could not find our location. Already very hungry, annoyed, down right mad. They finally arrived at 1:20 pm. Almost 2 hours late! The delivery guy was clueless and exclaimed that if we had a complaint just call the office and someone can speak to you. \r \r Hoping that the food would compensate for the tardiness, but the food was just as their service is. TERRIBLE! Food was cold, tastless, down right NASTY! I wouldve have been better of fasting or getting food from a burrito truck. \r \r All in all I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and I hope this posting will prevent anymore unhappy and dissapointed customers. If I could I would have given them negative stars as a rating.... Cons: EVERYTHING more

East Bay Catering catered a breakfast meeting for my staff of 35 last week. They came to my house in SF, even though they are in Oakland. They set everything up for us and the food was great. Who would have thought that the best Italian food i've ever had woudl come from a catering company? I went to a work function last night for work, and I was not looking forward to it because our company always has really bad food, but the food from these guys was awesome! Their pasta was so good and not too heavy. The chicken (i think it was rosemary or something) tasting so perfect. It was juicy and tender. \r The sides were good too, but I think the fresh bread did it for me. Everything about the food was pefect. I attended a friends BBQ last week, and oh my gosh the food was so good. I thought he had done the cooking, but I realized he didn't even have a bbq! He said that East Bay Catering provided the food. It was so good. I mean, I think of myself as an excellent bbqer, but wow, the ribs were great. Their ""secret sauce"" was so tasteful. The potato salad was also a big success. My company, which is an accounting firm out of Oakland, had its' anual holiday party last week. East Bay Catering provided the appetizers, beverage and service. They did such a great job! I was in charge of putting the party together, and I am new to the compnay. They totally helped me with everything, and the party ran perfectly. All the guests loved the food and the staff. My boyfriend threw me a suprise birthday party at his parents house in SF. This company did the food, and it was fantastic. We had appetizers, and then a full dinner. My wife and I had a house warming party last week. We bought a new house and had to move in right away. We wanted to have a house warming party before the holidays, so we asked around and heard that East Bay Catering was very good. THey sure were! Our family LOVED the food. East Bay Catering did a huge barbeque at my house for Labor Day Weekend. We had appetizers, then a barbeque by the pool. They even provided a bartender with fun summertime themed drinks. Our party was a success, and our friends can't stop talking about it. East Bay Catering will certainly be taking care of my New Year's party. more

My sisters and I threw my parents a suprise 25th wedding anniversary. We did it kind of last minute, so it was hard to find someone who would do it. East Bay Catering came through for us. We had such a good time. We didn't have to do or worry about a thing. My parents were totally suprised, and everyone LOVED the food. We had all kinds of appetizers and wine. It was so much fun. My parents threw an engagement party for my fiance and I a few weeks ago at their home. It was amazing. We had it in the back yard, and the food was wonderful. We had a full sit down dinner, adn the service was great. It was way better than any restaraunt I've ever been to. The filet was so good, and the appetizers were perfect for the event. My boss threw a cocktail party for our Real Estate Company, and East Bay Catering provided the best tasting appetizers I""ve ever had. All the food was so perfectly presented, and it had so much flavor. The shrimp is a must have!\r The servers were really kind, and the bartender was a lot of fun. I had to throw a party for my boss with very short notice. East Bay Catering totally threw the perfect party for my company, and it wasn't even that expensive.
