Bland and Unexceptional 9/21/2011

This is Italian food for timid middle class people - bland, clean, and uninteresting. Our Caesar salad had an overly sweet dressing and too much cheese, and the pizza we ordered was undercooked and lacking in flavor. There are many better options nearby...we won't be coming back. more

Good Food & Good Prices 12/14/2009

Earth Wind & Flour in Santa Monica always serves up good pizza and I love their salads - they are huge and filling. I've also tried some of their pasta dishes and enjoyed them as well. This is a great place to catch a football game...they have tvs in the bar area or to grab a bite to go. If you are looking for a casual dining spot with solid food & friendly staff - Earth Wind & Flour is the place. The portions are large and decently priced. Pros: Pizzas & Salads more

Decent food served hot at a good price 9/28/2007

I have gone to this place several times. The staff is usually friendly , the service is good and the food is good for the price. Come on, we are talking about pasta and pizza. I have tried many of their chicken dishes and have never had a bad meal there. I like the food there. I know its not top notch real Italian cooking but it is good. I know there are plenty of Italian places charging twice the amount for pretty much the same thing. If you are looking for an easy going, not expensive place with decent food, then this is the place. I usually sit in the bar area. They recently put in new booths and have big screen tvs on all the walls. I do miss the pool table. Pros: hot food served fast, good quality for the money Cons: none that I can think of more

Boring and Predictable Would Be an Upgrade Here 4/2/2007

I didn't go here with the expectation of a brilliant and authentic Italian meal, and boy, was I right on the money with that one. The food's edible. That's about it. Bland and uninspired. Only a kid would like food like this, and that's okay, it takes time to develop a palate. However, I don't think the people at Earth Wind and Flour understand this concept. The pizza is gummy, the cheeses are bargain basement, and the sauce, well...remember that kid we all went to school with who was satisfied with getting Cs in everything? That's the sauce if it was a person: ""Ah, I don't really need to be good at anything, I'll just exist, and that's enough for me!"" Mediocre, flat, boring. Stay away from this place if you know anything about Italian food and appreciate a cuisine that can take simple ingredients and make them sing. At Earth Wind and Flour, they just pound the voice out of everything they touch. Pros: The area is nice. Cons: Valet parking! It's free, but totally unnecessary. THE FOOD!! more

I have ordered delivery from them about 3 / 4 times in the last couple of weeks. Every single time, the order has been wrong! It's absolutely annoying. So much so, we through out the menu. more

Decent food with great family atmoshpere 12/12/2005

The food here is just average, but the atmoshphere and value can't be beat. There food is always consistent. If you want more basic home cooking, it is great. The Cobb Salad is one of the best and you get all the bread you can eat. Pros: service, atmosphere, parking more

This was one of my favorite places for lunch and dinner because of the casual atmosphere and healthy menu, but the last few visits have been disappointing. Watery pasta dishes, food that's served borderline cold. Perhaps I just had bad luck, but after three times I stopped frequenting this location. more

Their chicken parmigiana and sourdough rolls are very popular. Come try our homemade traditional Italian style tiramisu cake as well. Established in 1981, Earth, Wind & Flour has been serving delicious food in Santa Monica on Wilshire Blvd for over 29 years. They have a back room that's perfect for a large party and a full bar and 5 flat screen TV's. They welcome take out, delivery, and catering orders. Valet and street parking is available.
