So glad I stumbled onto these folks! I've been buying my hardware supplies at Home Depot and Ace Hardware because that was all I was aware of. Their pricing is highway robbery, and the quality as low as available. Particularly Home Depot. They have absolutely no conscience.\r Eames is like a breath of fresh air! The people know their business, and are johnny-on-the-spot...you don't have to hunt them down and insist they help you. It's like they actually want your business, and value you as a customer! No resentment for coming into the store and inconveniencing them! What a concept! Sure wish it would catch on...\r Go give them a whirl. You won't go back to those big chain stores ever again. more

Eames Aims High 1/27/2011

This hardware store is great. It is so nice to find a place, like in the old days, where people really know their profession. I hope the owner keeps training his crew to leaarn all they can. I always get direct, professional and correct solutions to the problems I bring them. Oh, diid I mention they have just about every old gadget you need. Just ask . . they know! more

Eames Hardware ROCKS 1/20/2008

This is the last great hardware store in the area. It was so nice to discover this gem, since Kelleway's closed several years ago. They have every little thing you want, and the folks that work there are very helpful and friendly. Ok, they do have one or two grumpy old hardware men, but if you give a smile, you can see through the gruff exterior. more
