The BEST oby/gyn I have ever had. I'm confused by the reviews of this place, because I've never had a problem with them. I've been with them since 2008. Dr. Ramani has to be one of the best doctors I've ever had the pleasure of being under the care of, and he delivered my last two babies. It's a large group practice, so if you want to be under the care of one specific doctor, you need to specify when making your appointment. They rotate you through the practice during your pregnancy, because your doctor just might not be on call that day! Courteous staff, always return calls when you need them to, and super attentive to your needs. It's nice to have a doctors office with a ton of employees, and have them actually remember your name when you go there! Recommended them to my mom for her surgery, and she couldn't be happier! more

I have read the other reviews and we are not going to the same place. These doctors have wonderful bedside manner and are always so professional nice and answer every question. I like their policy that no children are allowed in the office. This allows for a better experience for the other patients and more focus on the issues you and your doc can discuss. I actually changed to them at 30 weeks with my last pregnancy and they made the transition so easy. Sometimes a doctor might tell you something even if you don't want to hear it. They told me to lay off the chex mix at my showers........to help me with my water retention problem. Seeing all the docs during your pregnancy is important because any of them could be on call when you go in to labor. But once you have seen all the docs you can make an appt with whoever you prefer. It really doesnt matter anyway because all of the docs will do a great job with delivery. The first time i met dr. Lovinger he delivered my baby and he was fantastic. Overall this is a great practice and I would reccomend to anyone who wants solid medical attention during pregnancy or regular gynecology checkups more

I so disagree with the other reviews. I have been a patient at Eagle's Landing OB/GYN for 15 years and have always had prompt service and great care. The staff there are pleasant and caring. I have seen Pam Garrett and Dr. Lovinger and they are the best. Their assistants are wonderful and their concern for their patients is obvious. I was there only today and was in and out of the office within an hour and most of that hour was me getting my questions answered. I only waited about 10 minutes to get back to see the doctor. I think that's more than reasonable. They took the time I needed and they always do to make sure I am informed and know all of my options. I highly recommend them and hope you find this to be helpful if you are considering using their practice. They're experienced and concerned health care providers. . I love Colleen, Dr. Lovinger's assisstant and Pam Garrett, the nurse practitioner as well as Pam's assistant. . They're lovely people and I have great confidence in them more

I moved to Stockbridge in 2006, and have been a patient since. I see Dr. Phillips, and I love the care that I receive. She gives advice on motherhood (I'm single, with no kids), and how to prepare for it. She calls personally to deliver my lab results (which was quite scary the first time, since no other doctor actually called themselves before). When I need something, I call her assistant Tina, and I always get a prompt response .... especially with prescriptions. The only con was a billing mistake by the lab, but the people at this office fixed everything. \r \r Great place if you want that small town feel!! more

Reading these reviews I cannot believe we are talking about the same practice. I have gone to Dr. Lovinger for many years and I cannot imagine having a better OB/GYN. His is so nice and very professional. His assistant Colleen is so sweet and always makes me feel at ease. I am a 64 year old greatgrandmother so I wont be having any babies but for all my other related needs I would not go anywhere else. more

I've been going to EL OB/GYN for several years. I would highly recommend Dr. Lopentine. He has a great bedside manner, and he seems to really care for his patients. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 8/12/2013

Been a patient for over 10yrs & will not go anywhere else except for necessity as I've just moved out of state & eventually must seek another GYN. I've never experienced the type of svc or lack thereof as the other 2 reviewers. However, I can boast that my Dr. is TOP notch, and I doubt I'll find another with his same skill set & caringness. I was post IVF, when I found out two embryos made it. My dr. successfully performed an intrauterine surgery because he discovered within a few wks of IVF, that one of them moved outside my uterus & became an ectopic pregnancy. I cried the whole time & he held my hand & saw me thru. I lost one, but he save the other!! I went full term & he then delvr'd my son; who is now healthy & 10yrs old. He's performed all my yrly well woman exams uptil my move...and don't even talk about his bedside manners. He's in tune with his patients' health & is apt to their emotional needs as well (which is generally not seen in a male dr). I trust him implicitly...so much, that I am flying back to GA; so that he can perform a hysterectomy that I must have. I trust Dr. R and no other dr. w/ my body for a surgery so critical in my life. His nurse I've known for a shorter amt of time, as she came on later...and is equally top notch in my book. My treatment and care from both have been no less than excellent and I truly hate having to eventually give them up! more

When you find a doncot you love, never let them go! This is what I found at EL OB-Gyn. All of the doctors there are wonderful, I recomend them to everyone. more

I have been going here for several years. I would recommend it. The office is very clean and the staff is outstanding. Dr. Lopentine is my doctor he is very nice and takes the time to understand you not just as a patient but as a person. more

Terrible 9/10/2012

This place Is TERRIBLE! But I was new to the area and found them to be my only choice. SOME of the staff is nice and then some are sooooo rude. I am 35 weeks pregnant, been at this office the whole time and I didn't even know who my doctor was until last week and I've never even seen him/her. I have good insurance through my husbands job and have recently discovered that they are double charging me for tons of stuff and were extremely rude in letting me know that I supposedly owe them $800 by the next 2 weeks... Um no. They won't even allow older siblings to come to ultrasound appointments which is rediculous, I do sorta understand the no kids policy but I think there are times when it should be allowed especially when this policy keeps my husband from being able to attend. Overall I ignored the reviews an went here and at first thought they were okay but it has become a nightmare. They don't make pregnancy a fun or special time, you are just another dollar they rush through their offi more

If you are uninsured STAY AWAY!!! 9/19/2011

I've only been there once and was seen by Dr.Lopatine. He made me feel very comfortable, was a great listener and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend him. My gripe is with the front desk staff. While making my appointment- I explained EXACTLY what I needed to have done and that I had no insurance. Therefore, I needed to know in advance how much everything would be. I was told one thing, but before it was all said and done, I owed $239. I need to have a follow-up as we speak, but I can't afford it. So, if you are uninsured, I'd think twice about going there. more

Dr. Rao 9/13/2011

Brought my 16 year old to see Dr. Rao and she was talking to my daughter who was not clearly relaying her situation and Dr. Rao was getting frustrated and told my daughter to "Speak up, say what you mean" when my daughter wasn't sure what to say. I told Dr. Rao that my daughter was 16 and she didn't need to be talked to like that. I found her very rude and intolerable. She was not going to see my daughter after that but ended up seeing her because no other doctor was available. I would not recommend Dr. Rao for teenagers, I have been going to this practice for 5 years and I see a different doctor who is very friendly and I thought my daughter would do better with a female doctor. I was wrong. Do no see Dr. Rao. more

I wouldn't go back 6/23/2011

I got laid off and lost insurance during my pregnancy. Prior to the lay-off I had neither a good or bad review of Dr. Lopentine. He was just okay. After the lay-off and change to government Medicaid, my appointments became rushed and very cold. At one point he even inquired about my insurance coverage, "Are you still on Medicaid?" This was odd because never before had a doctor asked me about my coverage. Those questions are typically covered at the front desk prior to seeing the doctor. No doctor since has asked such a question of me. Additionally the rule about no small children in the waiting room is bizarre and not family friendly. It was a pain trying to find child-care so that my husband and I could go to the appointments together. Eventually, we gave up and I went to most appointments by myself. Southern Cresent Women's Healthcare is a much better option. They have a diverse non-judgemental staff. more

Eagle's Landing OB/GYN is impairing me from receiving prenatal care!!!! 5/23/2011

A few Months in to my pregnancy, I had to switch Medical Insurance, and Eagle's Landing OB/GYN was reccomended to me. I have been given the run-around and been waiting on a response from them for 2 months now, on wether or not they have even received my medical records I released to them & if they will accept me as a new patient. I can't go elsewhere as they have my records. I am high risk & missing important prenatal care due to their lack of coordination & poor level of professionalism. Their office has had such a negative impact on my pregnancy, I will warn everyone against them! Pray I sort this out & find care before my delivery please!!! more

Never Ever Again!!! 4/28/2011

HORRIBLE!!! The U/s techs are the most rude, inconsiderate "ladies" i've ever delt with! They were actually ghetto! And none of the staff were surprised when we reported it! The dr. TRIES to take up for them, but there is no excuse for such rudness and ghetto in a drs. office NO IDEA where they get that staff from. I have to say front office is very considerate and tried to rectify the situation, but DONT waste your time! more

not impressive 11/17/2010

I'm really not impressed with this office overall. The waiting room is really nice and the office is always clean. The wait time is not too long. However, for pregnancy, patients see a different doctor every visit and never really get to know the doctor who will deliver their child. We dont even know which doctor will deliver because it just depends who is on call at the time. Some of the doctors seem nice. Dr. Ramani seemed very caring and concerned. But I only saw him once. I have 4 weeks left. A few of the medical assistants are ok but there are a few I didn't like much. There aren't many choices for ob's in this area. If you don't mind driving far for appt's I would say go somewhere else for pregnancy care. For yearly well woman exams I think the office is fine. more

offended 11/11/2010

My wife and her sister both go to this office, and recommended thier mother to this office this week. Thier mother was suffering from "vaginal prolapse", and was refused treatment because of not having insurance. This family has fallen on very hard times just like many other "americans" have. During this family's hard times, they lost thier health insurance because of job loss. The office was notified of this situation upon thier arrival, so this was'nt new to the office. This office TOOK thier money for the office visit, made them wait just to be humiliated because of not having insurance. The doctor was very cold hearted about it. They were snubed by the staff. This is outragious people...this not a lie...my wife and her sister will no longer be patients of this office. more

Eagles Landing is awful! 6/29/2010

I had both of my daughters with Eagles Landing because they are the major obgyns in my area. I knew they had the experience. I was treated badly from day one. I was looked down on in an openly rude way because of my weight and because of my insurance, Medicaid. They are cold, not informative at all, rude and treat you as if you are actually just an inconvenience. My first daughter was born with a cleft lip and cleft palate, I was not notified of this until 1 week before I had her, even after three ultrasounds. I was forced into a c-section with my first, after they induced me for going over my due date by one day. Then I was told that I had to have a repeat csection with my second daughter or else we would both risk death due to the previous section. I am now on my third pregnancy and was dropped by them, after being chastised in public due to being on Medicaid at all, because I lost my Medicaid. I was informed by another doctor that they could've continued to see me because Medicaid w more
