Dr. Atcha is the best dentist to whom I have ever gone. He came highly recommended and I in turn have recommended him to a number of friends and colleagues who are equally pleased. Even my husband, who ordinarily hates dentists on general principle, really likes Dr. Atcha! I have stuck with him because he has a rare combination of excellent dental skills, professional manner, and the ability to put my family and me at ease. Dr.Atcha is not only a master at his craft, he genuinely enjoys his job and takes real pride in his work. And it is quite evident that he likes his patients, too. This is a first class office and I give him my highest possible recommendation. Everyone in his office is very helpful and friendly. They make sure I am fully informed about any procedure before they do it. Also, they all treat me with respect. I've found that many dentists talk down to the patient. Not Dr.Atcha! I have very sensitive gums. Dr.Atcha and all of the hygienists are very good about not hurting them during treatments. I have not been hurt once during cleanings, photos, or fillings. I went to this dentist for a cleaning even though I wasn't having any issues with my teeth because they ran a $19 coupon in the paper. They told me I needed a root canal, five fillings, and two crowns for a total fee of over $5,000 up front by cash or check . I asked for an itemization of the charges and they wouldn't give it to me. Instead, they pushed me to take a high interest finance plan. I walked out. Then I went back and got copies of my x-rays (which of course they charged me for). I took those x-rays to another dentist who did an exam and said I have nothing wrong with my teeth. more

I am a former patient of Dr. Zajac. He and his staff were the best! I only stopped going there because I moved to the NW suburbs and am not going all the way to IN to go the dentist. I have heard that he was alledgedly forced out of his own business by this new partner. What a shame if this is true! Beware if you suddenly have gingivitis and ask yourself why the staff left with Dr. Zajac. more

I was seeking preapproval for care credit and I recieved some horrible dental work with my gums bleeding and the whole nine yards. I was in severe pain and they used profanity at me when i stressed my dissatisfaction and then billed a care credit card without my permission i had insurance. All because I said I would not be having them perform the rest of my work!!!!! Cons: everything possible if you want tools tossed on your chest go here more

This is my first time writing. I just want others to know that the people that work for the Dyer Family Dentistry (exspecially Amy) are exquisite, honest, caring, kind, understanding, helpful and gentle. I am 27 with no insurance and I have not been to the Dentist in about 12 years, and I remember always loving to go and once I walked into this place, I remembered why. They treated me like I could have been a relative of theirs and wanted the best for me. The reason I went into the dentist is because my wisdom tooth was bothering me and made my jaw line start to swell and they did more then a complete examination on me. I felt so much better about what I had felt before I walked in, even though the work that I needed couldn't be done there because of the tooth being stuck by bone, they gave me two refurrals and told me that when I was ready to come back after having that work done that they'd be more then happy to work on some type of payment plan so I can get the rest of my teeth fixed and I will be returning to them as long as I live in the Northwest Indiana region.. I will never go to a different Dentistry, and I will never make a recommondation to any other Dentistry it will alway be to the DYER FAMILY DENTISTRY because they care and want to help and if you have money issues, they can help with that too.
