I would like to thank you and your staff, especially Dr. Jasmine and Sarah, who worked on me so much I feel like we’re friends! They made a not so pleasant experience bearable, always concerned that I was comfortable. I never thought I would have been able to tolerate all that I did, since my previous dental experiences were not so pleasant. You are to be commended for your professionalism and courtesy. Thank you! See you in the spring! more

I recently had the teeth in a day dental implaInt procedure done at Dr.Atcha’s office. I love them, I’m not sure what more to say they’re terrific. The new Implant Teeth feel great the closest thing you can get to your own God given teeth. I had everything done in one day with no swelling, bruising or stitches. I left with natural feeling teeth. You see advertisements and you don’t believe it. Believe me this is great. These are really beautiful teeth. I really love them. My experience with Dr. Atcha and his staff has been terrific. I have been telling everyone about them. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of having this done go for it 100%! You will be satisfied; I wish I would have done this 10 years ago. more

Dr. Atcha and his assistants are AWESOME!!! I finally found a dentist and dental staff that truly cares about their patients and the quality of work they perform!! I've already given your name out to family and friends. The only down side, is I wish you were a MetLife Provider so that all 7 of us could use your dental services :) more

I've neglected going to the dentist out of fear. Today was my second visit and I had no fear at all. I felt everyone at Dyer Family Dentistry was there to help me and had my best interest at heart. I'm having a little cosmetic work done, too; and I could feel everyone there was excited for me and my appearance would be enhanced. more

Before I met Dr. Atcha my mouth was a wreck-broken, painful, and infected. I was in pain, agony, and it was a constant because of the infections. I was just surviving day-to-day because of the pain. I was told by other dentists the only thing I could have were dentures after removing my teeth for the rest of my life. After seeking the help of Dr. Atcha, the Center and having the Teeth-in-a-Day procedure done with the All-On-4 dental implants its astonishing to see people’s reaction, and mine too as how it has changed my life! I’m talking more, smiling more, enjoying my favorite foods and by myself feel complete. I am very happy and people around me are also happier. It’s unbelievable my implant teeth are perfect, they look and feel so good! Thank you so much Dr. Atcha and staff! more

I would like to thank everyone that I came in contact with at my appointment yesterday. I was so terrified and in such pain when I came to you, and everyone I met at my morning appointment, from the ladies at the front desk to the male dentist Dr. Atcha, were so genuinely friendly and concerned. I am still afraid, but I am looking forward to my next visit. Thank you so very much for having such patience with this BIG chicken! more

I am 27 with no insurance and I have not been to the Dentist in about 12 years, and I remember always loving to go and once I walked into this place, I remembered why. They treated me like I could have been a relative of theirs and wanted the best for me. The reason I went into the dentist is because my wisdom tooth was bothering me and made my jaw line start to swell and they did more then a complete examination on me. I felt so much better about what I had felt before I walked in, even though the work that I needed couldn't be done there because of the tooth being stuck by bone, they gave me two refurrals and told me that when I was ready to come back after having that work done that they'd be more then happy to work on some type of payment plan so I can get the rest of my teeth fixed and I will be returning to them as long as I live in the Northwest Indiana region.. more

Going to the dentist was one of the hardest appointments for me to make. This dental office has removed all of my former fears of being seen and treated by a dentist. Thank you!!! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 11/16/2012

I had been to a few dentists I came to this office and this is by far the best. I always come here knowing that I will get the best treatment and that I will leave happy and satisfied. The people here are very nice and I can tell that they enjoy doing what they do, which makes for an even better experience. I am happy that I decided to come to this office and would definitely refer my friends to this office as well. more

Bad Work and Not Afraid to Say It! 10/27/2010

If Dyer wants to send a letter to me from their lawyer, I say bring it on because there is no way they can defend their poor work. I was also pressured into a bigger project. I came in to repair a front chipped tooth and was pressured into six veneers because she said I had a fracture through my one front tooth and it couldn't be repaired, only veneered and then you have to do two so they match and then they would look funny with just the two so doing all six across the top is the only way to make it look good. They had me fill out paperwork for a loan and I have a loan for 8,000 for six veneers that look horrible. I had ordered what the dentist said was the lightest color (if you think cream coffee is light...I look like a smoker - don't smoke or drink coffee) and the worst part is they are larger than my original teeth so they are very tight and crowded and because of the crowding, they have shifted. One of my front teeth is up from the other, the line down the center of my two front teeth is now at an angle. She, the dentist, said they would not redo them because she had asked me the day they were attached when I was unhappy with the color and size if I was sure I wanted them attached. I was traveling extensively at the time and had flown in just to have these put on. The temporary had fallen apart before the veneers even came in, so I had been unable to smile for a few weeks. I told her I had no choice. After the swelling went down (I get terrible swelling from novocaine - and they used a lot) the teeth were putting pressure on my other teeth and felt very bad. I immediately contacted them telling them they are too big. Even if the color was perfect (which it isn't), the teeth are still too large and because they were so tight as I continued to bite down the pressure forced my veneers to adjust and whallah now I have caused my teeth to shift. I took my husband in with me because he didn't believe they would be so stubborn - he was paying for these after all - and he also thinks they look terrible - he couldn't believe how she refused based on the fact that she asked me if I was sure before they were attached. How do you know what they are going to be like in the end until the swelling goes down and you get to feel them when you are not completely numb? I made it clear to them that they are terrible, yet they do not care. I was going to have them trimmed down, but after they started to go sideways and jut up and out - trimming them down isn't going to help at all. more

great office great dentist 10/16/2010

I was having a lot of pain in my molars and i went to my regular dds who had done a lot of work on me and told him that i was in pain. My dentist looked in my mouth and said nothing was wrong. I was not convinced. I was looking online and found dyer family dentistry on google and decided to call. Right from the start the staff on the phone were great and they got me in right away. The dr took some x rays and showed me that I had a huge big infection in my gums!!!! that was causing me so much pain!!! Had I not had it addressed right away that would've spread to other teeth and would have caused me to lose a tooth!!!! Dr. Atcha did a root canal on me right away and got me out of pain. I am so thankful I called and saw my new dentist or else I would've been in so much more pain and would've lost my tooth! It is shocking and unethical why my old dentist would not treat my problem and keep saying everything was fine when clearly it wasn't! \r I would recommend dyer family dentistry to eveyone. more

Horrible Experience 8/6/2010

(Edited Review) If I could leave negative stars, I would. After leaving an honest but quite negative review, I received a letter from an attorney representing Dyer Family Dentistry threatening to sue me for defamation and libel. There is such thing as anti-SLAPP legislation which protects consumers from such suits but there would still be some legal expense involved for me. So, I have chosen to remove the prior review and simply inform you that after my experience at this dental group, it is very easy for me to agree with the other recent negative reviews left on this site. more

Terrible experience. Stay away. 6/15/2010

After being a patient for years, I started noticing a change that came with the new doctors and staff. They were pressuring me to get cavities filled the same day after a routine check-up and cleaning, not only was I being pressured not to leave and get my cavities filled, they wanted hundreds of dollars to do the work that same day. I also questioned their prices, which seem high even with insurance, and that's when they wanted to negotiate their fees...I didn't know you could haggle at a dentist office?? I wasn't prepared to spend over 400 dollars at the dentist that day so I left. I went to another dentist to find out that I had NOT ONE CAVITIY...Thank God I didn't have the money that day, because I would of filled teeth that were in perfect condition and spend over 400 dollars!! They removed some wisdom teeth a year before, now I am wondering if I really needed to get them removed or if it was a way for them to collect money... Cons: Can not be trusted more

State of the Art Dental Office 8/10/2009

I actually like coming to this dentist's office! The staff and Dr. Kapadia are very caring, and I always feel at ease when I walk in through the door. \r \r Most of the other dentists I have been to are old and not very thorough when it comes to my dental visits. Here, they take digital xrays that pop right up on the screen, take pictures of my teeth, and do a cancer screening with a green light. And best of all, Dr. Kapadia went over everything with me herself so I knew what was going on in my mouth! \r Pros: Modern technology, caring dentists more

Modern Office 8/9/2009

I just wanted to share my great experience at Dyer Family Dentistry. As soon as I walked in to the office, the staff, hygienst, and Dr. Jasmine made me feel right at home. I was very impressed with the latest technology this office has to offer. The evening hours were convenient with my work schedule. Dr. Jasmine was a breath of fresh air compared to the ancient dentists I had seen in the past. I will recommend this office to all my family and friends. Pros: Latest technology and friendly staff and doctors more
