I can not recommend this contractor. Chief issue was communication. He did not let us know when he and his crew were not going to work (which was often) and even called at times to say they would show up on a particular day then did not show. There were differences in the scope of work between what we remembered and what he remembered. Some of them seemed quite illogical, such as his belief that painting the porch railings did not include the railing between our home and the twin (we ended up paying him extra for this). When we asked about a paint streak left on a window screen, he did not clean it but instead told us to use hot water. After the job was complete, we owed him $900 of the $5200 price. First, he did not know that his worker did not complete the job. After it was actually done, my father suddenly died and we, admittedly, delayed for about a week and a half before paying the balance because of the confusion from that death. Contractor called multiple times daily and, even after we explained the situation, called and threatened legal action and said on the phone that he was going to come power wash the paint off our house. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. more

For Christmas we decided to have the interior of parents home painted. Contacted DWC Painting; explained I lived out of state, wanted to have parents house painted and if we told parents we would pay for it, they would say it was a lovely gesture but they couldnt accept it. DWC made up a gift certificate, overnighted it to me. After the initial call, we dealt via email. After Christmas, DWC came to the house, helped with color selection and emailed an adjusted cost, proving their honesty and integrity - cost lower than originally quoted. The house is now painted and the family very pleased with the work. DWC treated my parents with respect; cleaned up each evening; answered questions as necessary. I took a chance using the internet to find a painter, DWC made sure I did not regret it. I highly recommend this company for anyones painting needs. Pros: Rapid Response, Great Job, High Integrity Cons: I cant think of any more
