Took the kids last week, they had fun and actually behaved in public.

The Triangle's Team 5/28/2006

Now that the American Tobacco District is open there are so many more reasons to go out to the ballpark. Parking is no longer a problem and you can hit Tyler's or Mellow Mushroom before the game for some beer or food and walk right across the street. Plus tickets are cheap and the atmosphere is great. There's really no better deal for anight out in Durham. more

Kid friendly! 9/2/2005

Durham sure is lucky to be home to one of the best baseball teams around! The games are always crowded and the ballpark is great! This is a fabulous activity to take kids to. This is one of my standard activities when I cannot think of anything to do in town. I just love the Bulls! more

What is this, "baseball"? Discover it! 8/9/2005

This is a great idea for something to do, when you're tired of movies, restaurants and bars. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I had one of the best times at a Durham Bulls game. Now I know why it's called America's pasttime--it's not just a spectator sport. It's fun to watch the people from the crowd get to do things on the field in between innings. And catch a fly ball and eat some tasty park snacks!! We had a great time! more

A great family night out! 7/16/2005

Nothing says fun like a baseball game. Even if you arn't into baseball you can enjoy going to a durham bulls game having a hott dog and relaxing. The durham bulls go out of their way to promote a family atmosphere. they even have fireworks on Friday nights :O) more

Minor League Baseball Team 5/16/2005

The Durham Bulls stadium is very nice and easy to get to, but parking is a huge pain. The games are often exciting even until the last inning and the team is fun to watch. They have a lot of promotions (i.e. Kids Run the Bases Nights, $1 Family Feast Night) that make it that much more enticing to watch the Bulls play. It's a great way to get a group of friends together. more

great design 7/23/2002

i have been twice and both times were a wonderful experience... the ballpark is very nice for minor league... good location... and good selection of food... parking needs work, but is appropriately priced Pros: clean, good price Cons: bad parking more

The Yard of the South 7/12/2002

DBAP offers the best baseball experience south of Camden Yard in Baltimore. When the American Tobacco Project is finished, it will be the centerpiece for Durham's rejuvenation. Pros: Atmosphere-Design, Flying Burrito, Good Baseball Cons: Basic Concessions more

Great Experience 6/10/2002

Great experience at the Durham Bulls Games. They really know how to treat the fans. They offer fireworks, games, acts, etc. Kept my mind off the many errors of the game. The tickets are very reasonably priced and the seats offer good views. Pros: entertainment, food selection Cons: parking difficult, not enough shade more

Triple-A Fun 5/15/2002

It's the next best thing to being at a major league game only the seats are cheaper and the view better. This intimate "old-fashioned" ball park offers the best view of downtown Durham, has a surprising array of food choices and is a great place to go when visitors come to town. more
