I had the complete opposite experience of the previous poster. I took my 4 yr old son in today for a 6 month cleaning. It was our first time at this office (we lived in NY prior to this). I had to drive 45 minutes to get there but now I know it was totally worth it. The office was clean and impressive. My son was able to watch a movie while he sat in the chair. The hygenist explained every detail to him prior to performing any cleaning. Dr. Dunston was extremely professional and down to earth. He spoke to me in ""plain English"", not dental-speak, and was so sweet to my son (and the little one I had in tow). I did not encounter any negative customer service. I will absolutely return to his office (we went to the one in Sanford). My son didn't say a word while he was there (nerves?) but he didn't cry either. Afterwards he said he was proud of himself. All in all, a great experience. We didn't even have to wait too long past our original appt time! more

Sandhills Dentist are only interested in how they can make money off of you. Beware, they will find a way ... And, if you are not bilingual... they will speak another language(Spanish) in front of you so you don't know what they are saying about you.... how rude... when both employees there spoke English to me moments before. Just shows, you can't trust this office or their staff.... I give them a very low rating... try another dentist before you go to them, my son was crying when we left, maybe it's because they kept referring to him as a her... more
