Dunn's Equipment

Unless you bought your equipment there you will get no help. The owner is abrasive , be prepared to be insulted. Parts are double retail, service fees are ridiculous, you can buy a new machine for what they'll charge for a tune up. Thank goodness there are other choices, this place should have disappeared years ago. I've never met anyone who said anything good about this place. more

After going to Dunn's a couple of times with non Honda questions, I could see that unless you bought your equipment there you would get no help. I bought a piece of equipment there at a cost of almost $3,000. A couple of months later I had a small problem with the unit. The owner told me to bring it back and they would look at it. So I am supposed to lug a 275 lb item back to the store. I figured he would say to me that if I was wrong in my assumption about the problem, I would have to pay for the pickup and delivery. The owner told me to bring it back and walked away. I heard similar stories from others after I made my purchase. Even though the owner is abrasive the manager is a very helpful and curtious person. It appears that John Q. Customer was somewhat reluctant to state his name along with his comment. I on the other hand have been a customer of Dunn's for more than ten years now having purchased a Honda mower, snow blower. A Stihl edger, wead wacker, and hedge trimer allof which I have been extremely satisfied with. Not only with the purchase but also with the service that I have received throughout the years. Having worked in two of the big box stores for more than 30 years, I would strongly recommend Dunn's Equipment. Thanks Dan for all your help and keep up the great work. Charges 2-4 times "over" retail for parts, outrageous service costs, will render equipment "unrepairable", that is "repairable", so as to lure customer to purchase new equipment, SHOP around, you'll do much better !! Pros: NONE Cons: MANY more
