I have never written a review before, but Dungan's quality and service was so great I would like other people to know they cannot be beat. We got several bids for carpet throughout our upstairs and after getting a bid from Dungan's we had finally found what we needed. They offered the best quality for the best price and were meticulous and clean when installing the carpet. Everyone who works at Dungan's is friendly and listens to what I want without being pushy. We have done business with Lou and Linnie Jenkins at Dungan's Floors since the early '90's. They put all new flooring in a home we were remodeling. In 2005, they did all our flooring in the new home we were building, as well as all the granite and tile work in the bathrooms, laundry and kitchen. They are the best in the business in our opinion, professional, friendly and provide excellent installation service. more

Judy at the store was extremely helpful in helping direct us to the type of carpet we were looking for, and she told us about an option for our upstairs bathroom that we had not known was available--linoleum squares that look like tile--and it uses actual grout. It's easier to install in an upstairs than tile would be--and cheaper. That's actually what we ended up doing. Judy also helped me last year to pick out material for window treatments for our living room and found the perfect fabric and color for me! Walking into a store with so many options can be overwhelming, and Judy made it so much easier to find what I was looking for. Lou, the owner, came and measured our home personally for the carpet and "tile." His wife Linnie placed our order and helped schedule the installation. I had to reschedule a couple of times due to a conflict with my calendar, and Linnie was so sweet and accommodating. Both Lou and Linnie were great to work with and very personable. The installation team did a professional job from the beginning to the end. They worked hard the entire time they were here, and although they moved all the furniture for us, I'm not aware that anything was damaged, and they got almost everything back in the right place! I asked them to move a couple of items that got put back in the wrong bedroom, and they did it with a smile. I chose to use this company solely on my previous experience with Judy and the online reviews of previous customers. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend Dungan's Floors. more

We worked with Dungans Floors to replace our 12 yr old builder installed carpet which was not great quality and wrinkled excessively over the years. Linnie and Lou are very knowledgeable on carpeting and flooring and helped us make the best selection for our situation. Lots of selection and color choices and the prices were competitive. It was important to us that the installers had worked for Dungans floors for many years and that we dealt with a company that would stand behind their installation. The installers did a great job, cleaned up after all the work was completed and spent all day making sure it was done right. The carpet looks beautiful! more

We ordered carpet for our office that we were remodeling...Dungan's did an awesome job from start to finish! They had plenty of selections and their help in describing the carpets and differences was very helpful! We picked the carpet and the best was yet to come...the installation crew! We have had carpets installed earlier in other areas of the house and only wished Dungan's would have done it! We had tip-top service from Dungan's from the day we entered their store to choose carpeting right through the installation and clean-up. They let us take carpet samples home; they gave us smart preparatory advice; the pay process was fair; the prices competitive; and they were accurate on the day and time the installers would arrive. The installers were precise, energetic, smart, courteous. They took great with care with the objects they moved. They consulted us when they were unsure of where something had to be repositioned. They worked morning through evening to get the job done. I sought out Dungan's because a friend who has used them twice recommended them. more

I moved into a new home and contacted Dungan's to have engineered wood floors installed in my master bedroom. I worked with Lennie in the store and over the phone and they were able to get me on the schedule during the tight window I had before the movers were coming. They showed up that day and installed the floors within a few hours. They look beautiful, and the quality of the work is flawless. I'm very pleased and have gotten many compliments from friends. more

This is the 3rd time we have dealt with Dungan's Floors and as always, we are very satisfied with the end results. Lou, Linnie and Judy are extremely knowledgable about their carpet selections and were very patient with our many questions! They truly make a customer feel "at home" - almost like long-time friends. They make a point of learning our lifestyle and decorating decor before making recommendations. Choosing carpet was a new experience for us but we are extremely satisfied with our choice. We did a little shopping around but the quality and price of the pad and carpet brought us back to Dungan's. The crew that worked for almost 2 days in our home was very efficient, polite, and respectful of our furniture and newly painted walls as they worked from room to room. We made several trips to McKinney to look at carpet and pick up samples. They were very patient with us not knowing exactly what we wanted and in taking samples. Finally the day came when we knew what we wanted. The day of installation arrived and the crew was just as outstanding. Once they hit the front door, they had furniture moved, carpet and pad up and concrete cleaned in 5 rooms within 30 minutes. Very hard workers, cleaned up after themselves and I had to MAKE them take a lunch break at 4 p.m. more

We had priced flooring at other places in North Texas...The prices for carpeting was never by the square yard. A deposit was needed to take each sample home. Another deposit was required to have a person come out to measure. We wondered what happened to "Good old Fashion Service!" Then we walked into Dungan's. We were greeted by a smile and a handshake,by the owner.No deposit to take home samples.Prices clearly market....By the Square Yard! And the owner would be there tomorrow to measure....No Charge. My husband announced( We are buying from this store!)To make a long story short.Our carpeting was installed today....We love it! Thank You, Dungans for a job well done. more

We had just bought a pre-loved home and needed to renovate the entire master bath. Dungans Floors has a great product selection and Linnie was very helpful with the design and selection process but once that was done and the sale was closed it seemed like the service dropped and went down from there. Lou had originally measured for master bath shower and floor but somehow it was NOT properly documented and did not make it to the design team, we had to keep reminding them that we needed tile for the floor and make sure it was all included. They should have a more efficient measure/design form for better communication within their team. The crew was friendly and nice but left their van in our driveway during few days of the project and left a huge grease stain that WE had to request for them to come back out and clean. We even had to remind and follow-up on this request. They did NOTHING to be proactive to handle it. And was even given this excuse that it was actually normal to have their crew van destroy a drive way with grease. WARNING: MAKE their crew places a grease pan under their van to protect your drive way or have them park in the street. I am sure others will want to protect their drive way. Their crew that handled the grout for the tile on the bathroom floor did an awful job. It was very sloppy and we are so unhappy with their work and now stuck with it. We will now need to find another company to have it re-grouted. The tile placement is beautiful but the grout in the master shower had settled and cracked and Jonathan, their Foreman said he would get with Linnie to order a custom colored caulk to seal the cracks but NEVER heard back from either Jonathan or Linnie and now since we didn't hear back from them we are going another direction to resolve the cracks. We extremely disappointed on their service. Linnie also mentioned she likes to go to the homes of their projects to check out the work and take pictures. Since we had provided pics via iPhone as a courtesy for ALL the repairs on the shower, she never came out to inspect our project after it was completed. I think if she did and if this was her master bath she would be extremely disappointed as well. more

I really didn't know what I wanted when I went into the store. They asked questions and guided me to the best material for my use and 3 color choices. Took them home and made a decision in 30 seconds. Installation was quick and clean. My floors look amazing in every way. (I gave the installation crew some funds for adult refreshments as a thank you) more

Great selection of flooring needs & more. I have used them a number of times and have always had excellent service from their expert advice on selections to installation/completion.
