Duncan & Duncan replaced a radiator that had been removed due to a leak. While draining the boiler water leaked all over my basement floor. Bill used my bright white bath towels (in the laundry room) to clean up the mess on the floor. This was after I said I would get my shop vac to clean it up. The radiator did not go back into the space it came out of (for some strange reason) so he proceeded to lay on his back and kick the radiator to try to get it to fit into the space. Really? Is this how a profession plumber works? He scratched up my toilet seat with his belt buckle, and even said ""sorry, I scratched the toilet seat with my belt buckle"". Sorry? Is that all? Then he proceeded to charge me 600 bucks for putting the radiator back in. He said he would send me a proper invoice in the mail, this was 1/7/12 and I still haven't seen it. Oh, almost forgot. The pipe he soldered began leaking one week later. more

I actually called this company up by mistake after my hot water heater broke. I thought they were the same company that I used previously. Turns out I was mistaken. Although I now have a tankless hot water heater I question the transparency of the plumber. He came in with one quote then increased it after beginning the work. There were complications with installation which compounded the cost. After comparison shopping with many of my neighbors it turned out my charges were significantly higher than everyones. I will not use this plumbing company again nor refer them to anyone in my community. Like the other person who wrote a review the bill was a big big surprise. more

We had a leaky pipe and had Duncan and Duncan come on a Saturday. The pipe couldn't be repaired because he didn't have the part, so he had to come back on Monday. The leaky pipe wound up costing well over $500. Yes, he did a good job, but the bill was a big surprise! Pros: Responds quickly Cons: Very Expensive more

Bill Duncan did a fine job installing my new tankless water heater. He followed up to ensure the job was done correctly. I'm giving him four stars instead of five because his initial estimate was lower than actual cost, but the price was still reasonable. Pros: Good work, nice follow up. Cons: Cost estimate was not too accurate. more
