Ive Attended a few services there and it was always clean, and The employees are very courteous, they have different size rooms to cater to your family/friends and lots of parking. more

I have used Duggan's four times in the last thirty years. I have found them to be kind and very considerate to deal with each and every time I have talked with them. Each time was with a different member of the Duggan family or associate and each time was the same high degree of kindness and helpfulness that one would expect in your time of need. Highly recommended. more

best service 11/27/2007

My family has never had a negative experience with Duggan's. our family alone has had more than 10 services here and that doesn't include the many others I've attended. The service is amazing and considering the state of grief everyone is going through, they're ready to cater to each indivdual's requests. I love the staff! more

As sad as it is we have used this mortuary a few times. But the staff will work with you to coordinate you every need. this is a very clean place and lots of parking. more

Duggans 10/10/2006

I think all of my family has used this mortuary. I was invloved in the planning of a funeral for a fmaily member and the staff here cant be beat. Thye are compassionate and helpful! They work with you to help you get through this difficult time. They coordinate everything for you. more

They do not try to sell you extras if you don't need it. It's seems like it not about how much things cost, it's about how much the person you lost means to you.   • Located at 500 Westlake Avenue in Daly City since April of 1963, the family owned and operated Duggan's Serra Mortuary can trace its history in the funeral service business back to the 1880s in San Francisco. Sitting down in 2012, with Dan Duggan, the Mortuary's President and his brother Bill Duggan, Vice President and CFO, their memories go back easily to the man they both knew in their childhood, their grandfather William Duggan. Born in 1879 in the town of Thurles, County Tipperary, Ireland, William arrived in the States alone at the age of 19, just in time to fight in the Spanish American War of 1898. “This was paying work,” Dan said. “So our grandfather enlisted.”
