DRW Transmission & Auto Care has done work on four of my cars. They've done work on the radiator, rear end, and transmission, and they've built an engine for a car. They've always been honest and responsible. DRW Transmission & Auto Care does excellent work. I probably found out about them through the Buick club I used to belong to. I've been a customer of theirs for 5-10 years. They've done custom work and regular work; I've brought in parts and they've put them on, as well as use their own parts. DRW Transmission & Auto Care is a well rounded shop that has done everything for me. DRW has done things of all sorts for me! more

I found out about DRW Transmission & Auto Care though my cousin, who had been going there. I was having problems with the guy who was working on my car, so I gave them a shot. DRW has done a whole lot of stuff for me--brakes, transmission work, gauges. I like them because they show you what's wrong with your car, and break it down for you in a way that you can understand. Also, they give you different options for how to fix the problem. The guys at DRW are honest, and they back up their work. And they will call you before they start fixing things, so you know what to expect. If anything breaks after you take your car home, you can go back and they will take care of it. They keep their word, and are just good guys. I recommend them. more

I really like DRW Transmission & Auto Care. They are really good and take care of me when I come in. I travel from Alpine to Santee for service, that's how much I like them. DRW are pleasant every time I use them. They don't over schedule themselves, so they get the job done without a long wait. If I do have to wait longer than anticipated, they will either take me home or to the mall to go shopping. I've had a relationship with them for four or five years. They are very fairly priced, and do good work. They also honor their warranties. DRW are just great. more

Wayne from DRW is awesome! I recommend all my friends to him. He's honest. He'll tell you what needs to be done first, and he knows not everybody is made of money and has millions of dollars to spend as they please. He'll itemize repairs like this too, taking into consideration both cost and importance of repair. He's great! DRW is honest. You can trust them. I go in there panicking all the time, and they'll take a look at it, and it's not like they charge you for just taking a look either. It's reliable, honest, hardworking shop, and Wayne is awesome! I got tired of all the other dealers and all the other people. It seemed like I was never getting a straight answer. I went and talked to the front office man Wayne and Cheryl and was helped. There were even times I took my car in thinking it needed something, and they recommended work that was much less expensive. It's easy to send my family members over there to pick up cars and look at estimates because I know they're consistent. I've been going to them long enough, about six years, that I know what to expect. I'm comfortable with them. In the day and the world where customer service has really fallen off in most places, I think DRW Transmission has set the standard for how things used to be and how they ought to still be. You don't find it anymore. They're good people. That's hard to find, and that's why my wife and I continue to go there. more

We have been with Wayne, Don, and those guys at DRW Transmission & Auto Care for probably for about 12 years. They were referred to me by my mother-in-law, who had used them for a service. We have gone there ever since. He has done everything from general maintenance to bigger repairs. I always tell everyone that though DRW Transmission may not be the cheapest place, you will get the best quality work. In fact, I have a newer car, and I don't take it to the dealership, I take it to them. When you find that person you know you can trust in the mechanic industry, it makes all the difference. I feel so comfortable with DRW. I know they are not just trying to make a buck. DRW gives me a priority list about what should be done immediately, and what can wait for a little while. I have dealt with DRW Transmission & Auto Care for 15 years plus. My experiences with them have been excellent. I have been a mechanic for 35 years, so when I first was interested in them it was for transmission work. They do a very, very good job rebuilding transmissions, and they hold up. It is hard to find good rebuilt transmissions. From there DRW started getting into different realms of auto repair, and so I started using them for more engine work and diagnostic. They do a little bit of everything for me. I highly recommend them. You can't go wrong by using them. They stand behind their work and give a good warranty. more

I have been a mechanic for 35 years, so when I first was interested in them it was for transmission work. They do a very, very good job rebuilding transmissions, and they hold up. DRW Transmission & Auto Care has done car service, diagnosis, engine tune up, and transmission work. They are excellent. They are really good. They are on an appointment basis, and it is spot on. They take the car in and 4 hours later the car is done. They get you in and out and don't hold the car all day. I have been using them for about 3 years. These guys do it right. They love cars, know cars, and take care of whatever it is in order to get it right. more
