If you are considering the purchase of a diamond engagement ring, and you have not gone to Droste's, I would suggest that you give them a visit before you buy anything. I recently shopped at almost every jewelry store in the Evansville area and I was surprised to discover that Droste's offered me the very best diamond engagement ring that I could buy for the price. \r \r David at Droste's was very helpful and showed me many beautiful diamonds under the diamond scope. All the diamonds I looked at had amazing brilliance and they were all certified in quality. The amazing thing was Droste's was much lower in price when compared to the same quality I found elsewhere. Droste's also offered me a large selection of designer engagement ring styles. Now I know why Droste's is voted to be Evansville's best jeweler. I recently moved to Evansville and did not know exactly who to trust. A friend at work highly recommended Droste's. Since a prong had broken on my wife's ring and it needed to be repaired, I decided to take it to Droste's. \r \r When I arrived, Greg Droste was both helpful and friendly. He inspected my wife's ring with me under a diamond scope and showed me exactly where her prong was damaged. Greg told me exactly what they would do to repair my wife's ring and the price actually was lower than I expected.\r \r Within just a few days Droste's had finished the repair on my wife's ring. When I picked it up, it looked like a brand new ring. The price Droste's charged was very reasonable, especially compared to what I was used to in my home town. I was just reading through the reviews from everyone and I think that it is so great to see people praising Droste's because they really are the best jewelers in town. My family and I have been shopping with Droste's since they opened their doors. Honestly, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The service is amazing and they are really thorough when checking my jewelry. They sit down and tell you every detail from buying a diamond to getting something small repaired. It's nice to know that they care that much about what you bring in or what you want to buy. GO TO DROSTE'S! more

I have had several pieces of my wife's and my own jewelry repaired, rebuilt or reset at Drostes. I have found their prices very competitive and their work absolutely excellent. They have a very good group of highly creative professionals. I do not buy jewelry like most people -- my wife and I look for specific stones all over the world and have them custom set -- sometimes locally, sometimes by jewelers in Atlanta and Chicago, depending on what kind of setting we are looking for. Droste's has never failed to give me service, value and craftsmanship at or above the level of any jeweler I have worked with in the projects I have brought to them. more

Drostes gave me a detailed appraisal at a great price and awesome value! Their Certified Gemologist had the experience needed to give me a great appraisal on my jewelry!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for jewelry...young and old!!!! more

We shopped here for engagement rings, but we put off right away by the prices. All of their merchandise was out of the price range we were trying to stay in. They also seemed to be understaffed while we were there, although the person who finally helped us was very friendly. They had a decent selection of jewelry, but we would not go back because of the prices. more
