Oil Change 7/1/2011

I dropped my car off at Discount Tire and Driver's got it from there for an oil change. They called to let me know it was ready and to let me know the findings on my AC. The quote on the AC was high but overall very happy with their service. Kyle was great about getting back with me. more

Totally Impressed 6/16/2011

I was dreading the idea of having to go to the car shop for a state inspection while dragging along 2 energetic kids on a very hot summer day. However, my fear and anxiety for the worse case scenario was unfounded. Driver's Auto Repair's Kid's Room inside the office was a great blessing. The facility was just so comfortable for the customers who needed to wait for any service to be done. Not to mention, the staff were very professional and very friendly. No other auto shop had ever received a 5-star from this picky mommy of 2 before, but Driver's Auto Repair Store #904 & staff deserves just that. more

Perhaps I expected too much.. 6/13/2011

I received an ad in the mail for $19.99 oil change, plus all these little extras..the normal extras-fluid top off, tire rotation, tire pressure check--nothing out of the ordinary, but definitely enough to entice me to give them a shot. I requested them to rotate my tires. I made sure to mention this when dropping off my truck. Long story short, tires were not rotated, and it ended up costing $33 and it took the better part of an hour and a half. Did they change my oil? Yes. Did they earn my future business? Not necessarily. more

Kyle was very helpful and upfront about the cost of repairs and was able to help me get the ac repairs completed thru my warranty company in quick and efficent manner. I was very impressed and will continue to have my vehicle serviced there. more

Quick and easy 5/25/2011

Got my oil changed there, easy and quick. The 19.99 coupon actually makes the oil change about $27 because of some additional filter or oil... otherwise very pleased. more

Good front desk service, but slow turnover rate. 5/13/2011

I had the following items done. - Full synthetic oil change - Tire rotation I arrived at 10:35 and left at 12:20 I figured I could get an oil change and tire rotation done on my 1 hour lunch break. I was wrong. more

Vehicle Inspections 4/9/2011

This was my first experience. I was running late for a Girl Scout event in Kemah and needed my vehicle inspected before hitting the road. They quickly got my vehicle in for services and I was out in less than 30 minutes, back on the road and able to meet my party on time. more

I had the option to wait or be taken to the waiting place of my choice like work or home. I was impressed with the people working there and the positive environment created by them, but it took longer than expected for my repairs to be completed and for my pick-up. It was an expensive use of half my day, but believably necessary. Next time I will check for additional option like ordering my own parts in advance, if that's possible. I have a lot to go on from the detailed repair option list I was provided during the above and beyond free inspection that was provided. It too was a knock down punch to the wallet, but not required. I settled for the black eye only option. Moving on past the pricing I would like to add the staff was polite and professional. more
