Dreams Come True at Dreamwrights 8/26/2005

What a wonderful job everyone does that is involved with this facility. I am familiar with many of the child performers as they attend a local school I work at during the school year. They enjoy it immensely. My daughter had been involved when she was younger and we enjoyed the performances that we attended. I see the heart and soul that the children and adults put into whatever they are doing at the moment and kudos to them all. I highly recommend the workshops they offer thoughout the summer they are broken out for different age groups and truly help a child develop a great self esteem. more

Dreamwrights offers a unique opportunity for community members - adults and children alike - to showcase their performing talents! Community theater is alive and well in York! A wonderful place for families to be involved and be entertained! Prices are always reasonable, and a variety of performances and special opportunities throughout the year make it a must visit for everyone! more

Amateurs but entertaining 8/1/2005

Another great introduction to theater for kids! It's a very small studio. The audience sits really close to the stage area. The stage is actually the floor in front on the seating area. The tickets are very inexpensive so you won't feel bad if you have to take a small child who won't sit still out of the theater. Still, they do a nice job and your tickets support the local arts. more

A great night out and even be in a play 7/9/2005

The Dreamwrights Youth and Family Theater is a truly incredible experience. Dreamwrights productions have people of all ages in them and some of my kids have even participated in a play there. It is incredibly low cost and the staff is very kind. You can meet the actors after the play and talk with them, they also will take actors of all levels into the plays so if you are looking to get into acting this is a good place for you. more
