This was my first time using DrainHelp. I might have been a little overcharged for the hydro-blast service completed on the pipes. Subsequent to their working on it, I spoke to someone who said I had paid 200 dollars more than I should have. Nevertheless, I was glad I could have done it because I was in the situation where I needed it. The people actually did the work. They weren't bad at all. They were personable. I enjoyed the service. The work was done well. All I recommend is making more than one call and checking prices, but in a situation where you don't have time, I would recommend them. The actual work was done and I was glad for it. I'm aware of what prices are for different services, and that was the only thing that bothered me. more

STAY AWAY from this DISHONEST and LOW-TECH business. They charged money for no job complete.\r They are worth NO stars.\r \r We had a minor leak, Ali told us it would be $185. A plumber came in and changed the plan and the estimate was $650. We decided to use another plumber and Ali said it would be $195 for the undone job. I called him, and he said it would be $150. We did not agree, and he said ""I WILL SEE YOU AT THE SMALL COURT ON YOUR EXPENSE!"" During the conversation, he said he demands $160.\r \r Just stay away. more

California Drain Experts did a great job clearing my drain recently. I found them in the old yellow pages and Im glad I did. They did what I called them over to do and did a quick and thorough job of it. more

The drains were overflowing at my rental home and the water was close to breaching my front door. Not only did they come out after hours in the dark, but it was still pouring rain while they were here. Ali came back the next day and quickly solved the problem. Given the circumstances and effort, the cost was very reasonable. more

These are fast professionals that know their job. They got to my parents house on time and got to fixing our problem right away. They contacted the city and work with them to get everything resolved. Me and my parents are very happy and would use them again if we ever need to. more

After having some trouble with another company I called these guys. Ali came over to look at the job and got very to the point and was plain honest with me. Thats why I chose them. Omar came to do the work and had it finished in an hour and must be one of the nicest plumbers that I know. Monika was great too! more

Our kitchen drain was badly plugged, we called for service, and immediately Ali came to our rescue. He provided friendly, informative, effective and thorough drain cleaning for us--- our pipe was power washed, it works better than it has in many years, and Ali provided a one year guarantee for us. To top it all off, the price was very reasonable too! Thanks so much! more

After Option One plumbing came out and tried to bs me into paying $1,550 I called Ali, he came to my house and gave me the straight answer to the problem and after 5 minutes I hired him thx to his honesty and straight forwardness! 1 hr. later, his plumber Omar came and fixed my major root clogged toilet in less than 1 hour.Omar is one of the most professional and nicest plumbers I've had in my house, AAA+++ If you read this, rest assured that you'll be very happy with their service and I forgot to tell you, Monika that set up my appointment, one word; top notch! more

Good price but 9/2/2011

A good company to work with but the installer was not very familar with the electrical hookup on the disposal I had replaced. I had to guide him as to how the hookup was to be wired. Not a great recommendation for this installer. The service was fast and for a great price. more

Excellent service 8/8/2011

Was getting new kitchen appliances, so had them come out to do work for a water hookup for the new fridge and a gas hookup for the new gas range. Work was completed faster then expected and under the original quoted price! BONUS: The appliance delivery folks decided they wouldn't hook up my new dishwasher, which was a bit of a shock. But the plumber was there at the time and hooked it up for free! I'll know who to contact next time I need a plumber, for sure. DID YIOU GET A PERMIT FROM THE CITY??????? 7/17/2011

In May I gave the OK to replace my back flow preventer, that a plumberbroke with the snake after a sewer blocked up, they insalted a new one but has failed to adjust it to allow the waste to be let out in the sewer, so now the back flow perventer is holding all waste in my house, and other plumbers $800.00 worth say all it needs is to be adjusted when frist installed, HOW THE HELL DO YOU RATE THAT, OTHER THAN BEING REAL STUPID, THEY ALSO TOLD ME TO HAVE CITY INSPECT IT, ALL: I KNOW IS SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING SO I CAN GO TIOLET AND SHOWER?????? WHAT DO YOU SAY GUYS, IT IS SMELLING REAL BAD AND SO AM I?????? more

Expertise service 7/14/2011

Peter Ruiz recently replaced the cast iron drain lines at our 1940's house with abs piping. His knowledge, work ethic and willingness to explain in detail all procedures were outstanding. At quite a few points during the job it was apparent that he was chosing the best option of repair, not the easiest route. This was especially impressive considering how long (15 hours) and hard he was working the first day. I lost count how many trips he made under the house just to get to the work. I was amazed and impressed and would highly reccomend Peter for your plumbing needs. Peter's boss, Ali was also very impressive in his knowledge and ability to explain the work options and double check all of the completed work. It really gave that extra confidence that things were done right. Awesome! 4/22/2011

I had a problem with my disposal. I called and they got someone out to my home pretty quickly. Anyway, the technician was very nice and knew what he was talking about. He explained what was wrong with my disposal and told me that it needed to be replaced. He gave me a fair price too! My disposal is now working like a champ. I will definitely be using them again! more
