Best Care Ever 8/8/2017

My elderly mother-in-law had a new onset of a potentially sight-threatening condition. When I called for an appointment, Dr. Dragon's staff gave her an appointment the next morning. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was compassionate and competent. We never waited more than 10-15 minutes for each step in the process. From the initial screening to the initial exam with Dr. Dragon and the specialty testing and scheduling of a follow-up, everything went very smoothly. I'd had Guly recommend Dr. Dragon and his staff for your family's eye care needs. more

Excellent service from start to finish 5/5/2017

Clinic was clean, pleasing to the eyes, and well-organized. Wait time was ok. Staff were friendly, from desk clerk to eye doctor. Ms. Jennifer explained the procedures to me pretty well. Dr. Dragon was very welcoming and patient. Frame selection was great, and Ms. Kim was wonderful at assisting me with finding the right frame and explaining the costs. I definitely will come back next year for annual eye exam and get a new pair of eyeglasses! more

I've seen Dr. Seipel 3X in 3 years. First time he referred me to an excellent retinal specialist - last 2 visits he treated me for loss of vision due to seasonal allergies I didn't know there was such a thing!! Efficient, great care. I recommend looking mo further than this practice!! more

Excellent Optometry practice 1/22/2017

Southern Eye Care has a fabulous staff which includes the office assistants and Dr. John Dragon. I have been to numerous physicians regarding my eyes and had cataract surgery at a large, well known practice in Norfolk. But it became a huge hassle to go there for follow-up care, with 2-3 hour waits being the norm and about 5 minutes with the MD. Not so with Dr. Dragon, he comes in shortly after his staff take the initial measurements and spends time explaining everything thoroughly. I took my 85 year old father in at the same time and he did the same with him and we were out of the office within 1.5 hours for the two appointments. Very pleased with the care! more

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and completely professional. The staff ensured that my insurance was being optimally and fully utilized. The waiting room, examination areas, and fitting areas are clean and well apportioned. The Doctors are thorough, courteous, patient, knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastically spent all the time I required to understand the results of my exam. Their equipment appears to be state of art. Southern Eyecare is an outstanding optometry practice. more

I wasn't sure what to expect but me n my mom waited and then we were called to the back and the assistant was excellent and so was the Dr. Everyone is great! more

Awesome experiance 9/16/2016

What an efficient group of staff and facility. The waiting room was beautiful and spacious, the wait was short, the receptionists were friendly and I was able to book my appointment the same day. I had an awesome experience! more
