I recieved hair removal at Dr. Tattoff, and the staff was extremely welcoming. The nurses fully explained the procedure, and they provided a very comfortable environment. They welcomed my questions and made me feel at ease about my procedure. They procedure itself was quick and painless, and I am completely pleased with the outcome and my experience at Dr. Tattoff. more

...and stayed for the rest of the treatments! In February I saw a bulletin in the LA Times that Dr. Tattoff was doing free laser tattoo removal on a Monday for their 1st annual Ink-Off. When I got there it was packed and there was camera crews from the news there, but sure enough I got in and out in an hour and didn't have to pay a thing. I just had my second treatment last week and I have 5 left before my tattoo is all the way gone. I have to pay for those but what can I say - this sh*t really works!!!!! It does hurt a little but it's nothing compared to having my ex's name on my chest. I can't wait until it's all the way gone, which should be before the end of the year. Dr. Tattoff has prices that are better than most places and they have an actual dermatologist running the clinic, which is nice, but it's their nurses and the receptionist that makes them the best. I've been to one other place in Los Angeles, but I've also had tattoo and hair removal when I lived in Colorado, so I've had a variety of experiences. No other laser clinic has better customer service. And when you're talking about something like laser tattoo removal, that's really what makes all the difference. I can't believe how well I was treated. I actually look forward to going there because the people are so cool. The last time I was there, one of the nurses was taking a break to go to Starbucks around the corner and she asked me if I wanted anything. Are you kidding me?!? I went to Dr. Tattoff so that I could get a tatoo removed. It was not cheap, but I figured that it was worth it, because I really wanted to get it off. The laser was really painful, and I felt like I was just rushed in and out of the office. Some of the staff were cold and rude. I haven't gone back after that, but now have a pink bump that looks like a scar in the middle of the tattoo, but the rest of the tattoo is still there. I agree with the other guy who complained about scarring. I don't recommend going to Dr. Tattoff. more

Dr.TATTOFF has completely changed my life! As a college grad with ""Spring Break, Senior Trip, and drunken nights"" getting a job was almost impossible until I went to Dr.TATTOFF. Not only did they help me but they went over and beyond what they had to do. The entire staff was extremely encouraging and helpful. Hey there eileen2778, \r \r I felt dr tattoff did a really good job with removing my tattoo. My tattoo only consisted of dark ink but it take me long until I started to see the ink fade nicely. During the free consultation they say that certain bright colors & especially yellow and white are harder to remove based on the way they reflect light, so if their tattoo was of a butterfly, i'm figuring that it had a lot of bright colors too Pros: treat tattoo artists for free, internet in waiting rooms, cool staff, good vibe. Rather than leaving me clean skin, I have a scar in the sahape of the old tattoo! I reccomend (and it's cheaper) to just get small tattoos excised (have the actual skin removed, then sewn so you have a small invisible scar), or just covering it up, if you can deal with having a tattoo. Pros: Tattoo is well, lighter.. Cons: A lot of money just to have a scar in the shape of a butterfly instead of a tattoo! more

I quit after 1 treatment. Even with a very small, one color tat, you're looking at a min of 6-8 office visits ($900) and a healing period of almost 1 year. The tat has to be iced and elevated for 24-hours after each treatment, then comes the huge, bloody blister. It pops after 1 week, then you've got one ugly open wound. You're applying ointment and bandages for the next month so that it doesn't get infected and scar. Forget about swimming or sunning or anything that will rub it wrong. When it does heal, the surrounding skin is discolored. Then you get to do it all over again! I don't think so... BTW, the laser hurts more than the tattoo needle, so if you have a big tat... I can't believe how happy i am with these guys! I finally got rid of that awful tatto i got back when i was 16. The people there were all great and they really know what they are doing and could answer all of my questions. But the best part is that it didn't cost as much as i thought it would. First of all the staff at Dr Tattoff is quite possibly the best part of getting treated. Everyone makes you feel very welcome and raises your spirits before you go through with the procedure. Grete is a whiz with the laser and she is great to look at as well!! Overall....the place is awesome with an amazing atmosphere! Only in LA can you watch The Breakfast Club, surf the web, and be surrounded by a gorgeous staff while waiting to be seen by the doctor!! It takes a lot for me to write a review either way but something especially fowl has to happen for me to go out of my way to write a bad one. I haven't had such rude customer service since my last visit to the DMV. The people who work here are pretty miserable. I thought I was stuck with this ugly reminder of my fraternity days forever...but no! I just had my third laser tattoo removal treatment and my tattoo is 70% gone. The staff is so professional, the office is spotless, and the medical director, Dr. Will Kirby is very highly regarded in the field of laser tattoo removal...in fact, he's the expert! The staff explained the entire process to my mother (who was in the waiting room) and answered all of her thousands of questions. It seemed a little cheesy at first for me to add a review, but I must say after being treated by dr tattoff I have no problem. I have this stupid tattoo my friend put on me when I was 15. Now I am a father and I don't want my kids seeing it on me and thinking of getting one. The staff is absolutely AMAZING. I felt like I was hanging out with long time friends yet at the same time they were so professional. Everyone knew what they were talking about and never hesitated to answer my questions.
