Okay, so I don't usually exaggerate but this is for real. Dr. Will Kirby is a lifesaver. I am a college student, and as many people know, we tend to drink. And while we drink we tend to do stupid things. This may sound cliche, but its the truth. I recently drunkenly got a tattoo, and even worse, it was a tramp stamp.of a butterfly. seriously...a butterfly?!?!?! What the hell was I thinking? Its embarassing just to say that. Another great perk of being a college student is we tend to be broke. seriously....broke. Well I heard about this Ink-Off thing for free tattoo removals and I seriously thought it was too good to be true. So, I made the drive down there from school and it was soo worth it. Everyone was so nice and helpful. It didn't take very long at all. Honestly I was expecting a very very painful experience and it didn't hurt that bad at all! I was shocked. And even better...it was all done just in time for me to go back to school when my parents were visiting...they had no clue!! It healed very well and looks like I never got one. so seriously...don't let your drunken-ness stay with you forever. if you aren't already covered in tattoos..don't get one. you don't want it...trust me. and if you are stupid and get one anyways... go to dr. tatoff and get rid of it!!! Dr. Tattoff did a miracle for me and turned back time. So often when I make a dumb mistake I wish more than anything I could turn back the hands of time and undo it. Getting my tattoo, when I was younger, was one of those times. Unfortunately in almost all situations, I have to live with my mistakes and regrets. Thankfully, this wasn't the case when I met Dr. Kirby and his amazing assistant and staff. My tattoo carried with it a negative connotation of shame, that I won't go into, and I was more than ready to be rid of this constant reminder. Dr. Kirby helped me to feel relaxed and gave me a good, step by step understanding of the procedure I was undergoing. His after care instructions were also so helpful. I couldn't have asked for a more efficient and caring doctor. I have 3 treatments to go before my mistake is finally erased. But as I 'm watching it fade away, little by little, it feels a lot like that really good, absolved feeling you get when you're forgiven for a bad mistake and get to start fresh. A friend of mine told me she went to get her tattoo removed at a really nice place. She said it didn't hurt much and the people were really nice. I saw how well her tattoo came off and so I decided to set up an appointment to have mine removed. The people at Dr. Tattoff were very helpful, friendly, and the facility is clean and very nice just as my friend said. Not all ink, is good ink. And, I learned that the hard way several years ago. My best friend, who was also a victim of bad ink, recommended that I pay a visit to Dr. Tattoff, ASAP! My first response was....no way...no needles for me. I finally gave in and made an appointment for a free consultation. As soon as I walked in the door, I felt at ease. The staff was terrific and very calming. They could see that I was ready to jump out of my skin. The doctor's assistant was extremely informative and reassuring. She explained what to expect and answered all of my questions.\r \r I decided, then and there, to sign up for the 7 session treatment to erase my dreaded bad ink. The doctor was incredibly professional, and explained everything to me during the procedure. Sure, the treatments are uncomfortable, but no less uncomfortable than being inked. It took me a few months to make my decision as to where to get my tattoo removed. I researched several laser tattoo removal clinics and I decided to go with Dr.Tattoff. After my initial consultation, I knew they were the clinic that had it all together. With their training and background I felt secure in their hands. The procedure was explained fully and I felt very at ease about my appointment scheduled for the following week. The experience they have goes a long way and it shows. I'd felt depressed for awhile after a special relationship I had didn't work out. We both let someone else get inbetween us who had wanted to break us apart for awhile and one day she finally succeeded. I'd had his name in a small heart tattooed on the back of my right shoulder. But life happens I guess. So I went to Dr. Tattoff to have it removed. I was so pleased with the results after numerous laser treatments. The pain wasn't bad at all either. The doctor was very understanding when I told him of my heart break and reason I wanted the laser tattoo removal. I felt embarrassed when I started to cry in his office but he and his nurse were so great and caring. He was also very professional and thoroughly explained to me the process it would require. I have a small tattoo and have been going to Dr. Tattoff for a few months. I just finished my second treatment, and I can already see a little bit of fading. It's a miracle. I have been receiving laser tattoo removal at Dr. Tattoff since August, 2008. I?m half way through my treatment procedure and the tattoo being treated seems to be almost 80% removed. The staff at Dr. Tattoff is pleasant, helpful and very professional and the clinic provides flexible hours and a spotless, relaxed environment. The treatments are very brief with negligible discomfort. I was wearing long shirts to keep my lower back covered at all times and constantly worrying about bending over. Who woulda thot that getting a tattoo removed could turn out to be such a cool experience? Not me. But it was. I got to meet Dr. Will Kirby from ""Dr. 90210"" and he was awesome and his nurse, Sarah, was so sweet. I told them that I liked my tattoo while I had it but then I just got tired of it and knew I'd outgrown it and it was time for it to go. I checked around at a few different clinics in the area but Dr. Tattoff was the clinic I chose based on experience and pricing and once I came in and talked with them, that sealed the deal. It was important to me that I had someone who was an expert in their field. It was a good choice I'm still happy with. Dr. Will was attentive to my concerns and seemed to know anything and everything about laser tattoo removal, which was reassuring to me as his patient. The process wasn't nearly as painful as I anticipated once they numbed it up with a cream they put on it about half an hour before he actually lasered it. Before I knew it, it was done and they taught me how to properly care for it until my next visit. It's actually cool to watch it slowly disappear over the months as the laser breaks down the ink each time after my appointment, so if you can be patient and endure just a little discomfort, it's well worth it in my opinon, and I highly recommend Dr. Tattoff to anyone who's outgrown their tattoo and doesn't want it anymore. Today was my first hair laser treatment at Dr. Tattoff in Beverly Hills. It took me a long time to decide on who and where I was going to get treatment. I researched and called many different Drs and ""medspas"" and inquired on what laser they used and how the treatments were performed. Dr. Tattoffs staff were excelent in explaining the procedure,what laser they used how many treatments would be needed and the cost of each treatment. Most other Drs I called the staff had NO idea what was involved in hair removal let alone what laser they had. In these tough economic times I want to make sure the money I spend is worthwhile. They were very straight forward on the cost and number of treatments. I feel very confident and happy with the outcome. I suggest if anyone is thinking of doing this- to do your homework. I personally trust a group that does only laser work and knows it inside and out than go to an office that does 25 different procedures, so-so. My tattoo is a picture of praying hands placed on my neck, it is a rather large piece and draws immediate attention. I am in the process of having it removed because I am tired of being classified as a criminal (only convicts would have a tattoo on their neck) even though I have never been incarcerated. It has cost me several jobs and has shut the door on opportunities that I was more than qualified for. I have gone through three treatments and the process has lightened the tattoo enough for me to now cover it with make up. The difference in how I am treated is huge. I have started a job at a fine dining establishment who just two years ago would not even interviewed me. I look forward to finishing this process so I can stop applying make up every morning. This review is about a year in the making. I started my treatment in May 2006. I got a package treatment for my a tattoo on my back (shoulder area). I was treated at both Dr. Tattoff locations. Their pricing is probably one of the cheapest around and their staff is nice and will listen to you. They do an amazing job of explaining the entire process. Their equipment is state of the art and I'm sure they are the experts since so many other people there were noting how well their tattoo ink was fading away. The thing you have to understand is that your skin can get a little darker from the treatment itself but this is not ink, it's called hyper-pig-mentation and it will go away on it's own or you can by some bleaching ointment which works pretty well. You have to be prepared that it will take a long time to see results but it does work very well. You should use a sun screen every day. You should lightly ice the treated area the day of your treatment. Buy the numbing cream because the laser stings your skin but the process is fast. The whole experience was mainly positive and my tattoo is nearly gone. I'm really glad I decided to go to this clinic. This is my honest opinion and this has been a long and detailed process. I moved to LA a couple years ago from the south. Down where I come from gettin' a tattoo is like a rite of passage to manhood. My buddies all had 'em and I followed the wrong crowd right into becoming a member of a posse of territorial up to no good youth, when I was young and dumb. I regretted it and once I finally left and got my life back on track I wanted the territorial insignia taken off. I'd heard of Dr. Tattoff from my meemaw who now lives in LA too. She never liked my tattoo and was happy when I told her I was fixin' to get rid of it. I found Dr. Tattoff was a cut above the rest and cream of the crop. The doctor told me it hurts a little to remove it but I told him pain don't bother me none, I just wanted the dang thing gone. The pain was next to nothin' for me and the doctor and nurse was real nice and sweet as pie to me to. Everybody there was every time I went. Well it healed up real good and is finally gone now and I couldn't be more tickled you can't even see where it was. It's like it never happened and that's a dang good feelin'. You don't get many do overs in life like this Sure good thing I listened to my meemaw and went to see Dr. Tattoff. She's never steered me wrong yet. You can't take the country out of the boy but you sure enough can take the tattoo off when you go to the right place. Take it from a southern boy and his meemaw. I had seen Dr. Will Kirby's tattoo removal business several times on television. At least that's where I had first heard of it. I was intrigued about looking into it, as I had gotten a tattoo several years ago that wasn't done very professionally, and I had just grown tired of it. Young and stupid at the time, I guess.\r \r I was extremely well pleased with the professionalism of the staff in the Dr. Tattoff office in Beverly Hills. They were kind, patient, caring, and they were very tuned in to making sure that it remained a pain-free experience. Seriously, they kept asking me over and over if I was comfortable and if there was anything they could do for me to help me be at ease.\r \r I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who is in the same predicament as I was and is wanting to free themself of a tattoo that is no longer meaningful to them. I've been thinking about removing my tattoo for years but finally just got around to it. When I first got my ink I loved it. Let's just say I was listening to too much Tupac music. I went on a few consultations to a few different places inquiring about tatoo removal. Once I went to Dr. Tattoff knew this was the place I could trust. The price was good, which is the obvious, but the main thing for me was how personable the staff was. I met with Emily who was the nicest person I met during my consultation meetings. She assured me she would do anything to make sure I was happy, pleased with my results and most importantly being comfortable. She was extremely knowledgeable, and very friendly. I went to the Dr. Tattoff office after a recommendation from a friend who attended one of the Ink Off's and was so happy with his results. I had the initials of my ex-fiance tattooed onto my wrist, and it was time to get rid of it because it was just a reminder of the past and I needed to move on with my life. \r The staff was so helpful and answered all of my questions very thoroughly, and I was so impressed with the way the Doctor took his time with me and made sure I was comfortable and as pain-free as possible. \r While I cant say the experience was completely painless, something like this never is, I can say that I got the best care I could possibly get and I would recommend Dr. Tattoff to anyone. I spent a considerable amount of time shopping around and after doing my homework I choose to get my tattoo removed at Dr. Tattoff. I must have spent an hour going through their website.
