I had a great experience in the office of Dr. Robert Howard when I went there after my glasses got swept up by the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. Yes, I really am that guy! Anyway, the office is convenient to my work, and recommended by a friend so off I went. The doctor was super personable, and did a good exam. The tests he runs are pretty high tech, with lots of digital and video applications. I felt like I got a very accurate exam. Lots of eyeglass frames in a wide price range. The optician made my glasses right there in the office so I was set to go in about one hour. Dr. Howard is a place i will go back to , and I have already recommended them to friends and family. more

Dr.Robert Howard BEST OPTOMETRIST IN SAN DIEGO 7/28/2011

As an eyeglass wearer for twenty years, I feel lucky to have been referred to Dr. Robert Howard and his team at Eye Care Plus. Dr. Howard is an excellent doctor who really cares about his patients. He gives an extremely thorough and detailed exam, then prescribes the lens that will give you the best vision you have ever experienced! The optician on site is very knowledgable and he helped me pick out the perfect glasses for my job, and then a spare pair for the sports I play on the weekends! My wife got her designer sunglasses the same day. We were so impressed that we referred my daughter and her husband and they can't say enough great things about Dr. Robert Howard and the whole office. Pros: null Cons: null more

Dr.Robert Howard A+++ Eye CARE 5/20/2011

I had to add my review about Dr. Robert Howard and his great practice on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. This office provides great eye exams (best I have ever had), a wide selection of frames, cool technology that lets you see yourself in different styles of glasses before you buy. His assistants know what they are talking about, and honestly, Dr. Howard is a very patient doctor who really spends time with his patients to get things just perfect. more

Dr. Howard is the only place to go for Contacts and glasses. 7/16/2010

When I moved to sunny SD, I relied on the referrals of others to hook me up with the best of San Diego. In the case of an eye doctor, I really needed someone good because I wear contacts and glasses and I really want someone who can fix me up. Well, Dr. Howard is the place I kept hearing about and now I know why. The place rocks, they are open on Saturday, they have this computerized exam equipment I've never seen before and they keep all the contacts in stock. No waiting for days or weeks for them to be ordered. I love this place. Pros: Expert care and high tech exams.Open Mon-Saturday! Cons: I honestly can't think of any cons. more
