Dr. Chacko saved my son's life more

The doctor dismissed my concerns when I told her I was really sick. She gave me some medicine that I found out later was some type of antidepressant (which she had assure me it wasn't). When my body hurts, I need a solution, not a pill to make me sleepy. more

Mona Chacko has no clue what she's doing, very rude. Office is like a revolving door, get them in and out as fast as possible without taking the time to assess the patients condition. more

This doctor is awful. I visited her two times. The first time I visited her she misdiagnosed and I had to go back and pay another office visit for her to get it right. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and went back a second time when I got sick.....same thing, she misdiagnosed, and refused to prescribe me the correct medication over the phone, saying that I would have to go back and pay for a second office visit. She didnt even get back to me until two days after I called her and left a few messages to say that my condition was not improving. She will try to take you for all you've got, such as unnecessary blood work when I went in for a sinus infection (which she did not manage to catch the first time). She is also very unprofessional, she rolled her eyes at me when I told her I could not take a certain medication because I have adverse side-effects when I take it. She also does not do refills on medications, so that you will have to go back if your on a medication that you will need to take on a regular basis. I have never been to such an awful doctor before and hope that people do their research before scheduling an appointment with her. The previous positive comments seem repetitive and are probably from the same person (who is probably a family member or friend). more

she'll prescribe you a drug and get onto the next patient. follow up care? she's never heard of it. more

Dr. Chacko is the perfect doctor for someone who does not like to go to doctors. She is the 1st doctor I have found that does not judge or make me feel that my questions are dumb. I am a diabetic and it took me a while to come to grips with that-she helped me. She also makes sure that I am informed about all of my health choices. I agree with the other patient and that is that one of her best qualities is that she is patient and keeps to her schedule without skimping on her patient relationships. I recommend her to anyone that has not seen a doctor in a while and wants to get their health in order. more

I'm not a doctor person either, and probably not a good patient(!). Thank goodness that I'm hardly ever sick. Dr. Chacko answer's my questions patiently an doesn't laugh at my comments (not too much!) and does explain the reasons for this and that. Not like some doctors that just give you a shot or prescription and not tell you why etc. more

I am not a "Dr." person. I avoid them like the plague--no pun intended. I had not been to see a doctor in about five years when I found Dr. Mona Chacko. My husband had been seeing her for a few months for high blood pressure. He liked her and said the office staff was friendly and attentive. We were about to go on vacation and I was sick. My husband insisted that I go to see her so I reluctantly went. I was so pleasantly surprised. Her appointments were running on time. Her office staff was friendly and so was she. She spent time getting to know me and I don't mean the normal medical questions. She wanted to know about me. I left there with a diagnosis, a prescription and a new doctor. I have been back many times now with the same results: a well run office that is friendly and a doctor who is more concerned about patients lives than the financial bottom line. more
