Never had a problem. 4/30/2009

I have been seeing Dr. Yo-cum for over 13 years without a problem. Even after I moved away, I still kept Jeff because I trust his judgement. I am not sure what the others are talking about for issues. I would highly recommend Family Eye-care to anyone in the Greater Lafayette area. more

Not my favorite eye doctor... 11/5/2007

I'm not sure exactly what it is I don't trust about this office, but I just don't feel like I'm getting an accurate exam. Both times I've left his office with contacts, I felt as though I'd been given the wrong prescription. Also, I've only gotten a contact for my right eye, and as many times as I've said that I think I'd prefer to have contacts in both my eyes, he tells me I just don't need it. I don't even feel like I can see when I'm driving with this one contact in, my prescription just doesn't correct my vision at all. The first time it happened I thought it was just my perception, but now that it's happened more than once, I'm definitely looking for another doctor... more

do not go there with ANY eye problems! 2/27/2006

How would you feel if you found youself in a car sales lot instead of an eye care place? Precisely. Mind you, the guy 1) didn't see me in contacts; 2) didn't use the paper - yet they charged me $17 for it, and they knew perfectly well my insurance doesn't cover it! \r \r I just mentioned what contacts I wore, and the guy said he had no experience with them, so he just ordered the same - not checking the fit, nothing. I'd never been there before, so it's not like he knew anything about previous prescription. And after the visit, I had to give the nurse a first degree to find out what they were charging me for! (Turned out, they were trying to sell me a 2-year supply of contacts at once! Can you imagine the pricetag??!?!)\r \r Also, they guy put the drops int more

good doctor 11/21/2005

I had my eye exam check in his place. He is nice, but a litttle bit out of pacient. But he would explain my eye problem to my husband, I guess because he thought my English was not great to understand him, and I thought he still need try to explain them to me. I truse his professional skill, and his office has all the modern equipments. His exployees are nice ladies too. PROS: good service CONS: the doctor is not very patient more
