Dr. Elvira Pasmanik

Bad: Insincere. If I bring up another health issue other than 1st one, I was told that "I'm not your primary doctor" so go to your primary doctor or another type of doctor. I was not even examined at all. All that this doctor did was to take notes of what I told her.. Improvements: Make it easier for the patients to prescriptions that fits their need and their fiance. I was refused when I requested that the doctor fix my prescription so I can do mail-order from my insurance company to save me money as retail pharmacy does not go under insurance coverage for this medicine.. Other: Overall, not pleased at all. What did I get for my time and money for going to this doctor? Only a worthless piece of prescription that I cannot fill.. more

Dr. Pasmanik really takes time to get to know her patients and goes far out of her way to make sure they are satisfied and taken care off - she has been absolutely amazing with my elderly father and treats her patients like family. The staff has really stepped it up too, making sure that each patient is attended too with regard to insurance issues, refills and scheduling. In times like this its hard to find medical professionals that treat you with respect and she does just that! Most of my family goes to her and I recommend her to everyone! more

Dr. Pasmanik is a very good doctor but her front desk staff and billing staff are terrible. They do not know how to properly submit the insurance claims which can leave the patient with credit problems. The front desk staff are not helpful. They refer the patient to a billing supervisor that will not pick up the phone or return calls. more

Very pleasant and knowledgable physician. Office is about 2 years old and very modern. Very comfortable atmosphere with living room style furniture and plasma TV's in waiting room. I go to the Dr. pretty often due to asthma. Pasmanik and her staff are great to deal with and have me breathing better than I have in years. Made some staff and billing changes recently that improved service. Her receptionist, Amanda, is a true gem and I would hire her away in a minute if I thought I wouldn't be thrown out of the practice. more

I haven't been back in a while. I found another dr who I don't like as much but I couldn't take the staff and wait time at Pamanik's office. They are rude and I question their intelligence. It's unfortunate because Dr. Pasmanik is a good doctor... just a poor office manager. more

dr. pasmanik's staff are horrible. they are rude - and act as though you should be lucky that you got the time of day. i had a blood test done, and it took me 2 trips and umpteen calls to find out the results - only to get them about 10 days later. 10 days!! the results from the lab came back about 1 day later. the staff is just atrocious. more

She is great at diagnosis but I am exhausted. Dealing with her staff, getting prescriptions filled, and making appointments are NOT worth the actual time spent with her. Since the long-time WONDERFUL office administrator has retired the office has fallen apart. It has been almost a year and her staff is still frazzled, slow, and under trained. The staff seems bothered by questions and passes them along to the next under informed staff instead of the Dr. It seems office decor and adding new Beauty treatments took priority over training. My last issue was trying to get a refill for a prescription that I've been taking on a daily basis for 7 years - filled at the same pharmacy, prescribed by the same practice. After speaking to 2 staff members a total of 5 times in 2 days, they said they would send the prescription over. When i went to pick it up is was for the wrong dosage and wrong pill quantity. They have called my mother's house (where I don't live) to leave messages because they thought she could "pass it along." Her staff is costing her patients - trust me. i am actively looking for a new Doctor. Unless you have tons of time on your hands or are a glutton for self punishment i suggest you keep looking. more

Dr. Pasmanik took over the practice from a prior physician I will not name, since he retired While I was happy with him, I am even happier with Dr. Pasmanik. I have never found a physician that spends the time Dr. Pasmanik does with her patients. After examination she usually brings a patient into her office to consult and answer any questions. Her patience and knowledge are fantastic. Asthma had bothered me for a long time, but my attacks have become less frequent and severe due to modifications she suggested to my lifestyle and in my medication. She is a great physician! more

Very knowledgeable, caring, patient and supportive. Spent more time with me and shared more information than any doctor I have been to in a very long time. more

I'm sure it's hard to fill the shoes of a trusted family physician, but an effort needs to be made. When Dr. Mourtzanakis, affectionately known as Dr. Taky by his patients retired, Dr. Pasmanik took over his practice. My entire family and many of our friends were patients of Dr. Taky's, so we gave Dr. Pasmanik a chance. She hasn't met the standards set by Dr. Taky, and unfortunately, hasn't been all that impressive in the care she provides. In the last year, my whole family has found other physicians (see some of my other reviews) as have many of our friends. more
