Dr. D was exceptional. My older daughter just graduated and her beautiful smile made the celebration. I kept thinking how glad I was to have seen Dr. D. Her staff were great, the offices were attractive, and her hours and locations were convenient. I also used the payment plan, which helped our budget. Overall, I would strongly recommend her to others. more

Dr. D is great! I love how quick they are to get through my appointments because I am a very busy person. I highly recommend getting your braces here, the staff is awesome and the office is beautiful! I cannot wait to show off my beautiful smile when I get my braces off! more

We have just completed the third family member through Dr D. We had exceptional care and a great Orthodontic care experience. We could not be happier. We are impressed with Dr. D's state of the art offices and friendly staff. The office also had flexible hours to accommodate our busy schedule. If we ever had an issue with a broken wire, we have been taken care of immediately. The results in our children have been dramatic. They have beautiful smiles. I highly recommend her for orthodontic care. more

The scheduling office is quite unsympathetic to a child in pain - My daughter was in pain after getting a back brace. I called Dr. D's office, and requested a same day appointment for my daughter who was taking advils and was in pain. They would not give an appointment until the next day afternoon, although I called before 9.30am for an emergency appointment. I am very disappointed in Dr. D's office as this was the first time in three years that my daughter needed an emergency appointment to adjust her brace or remove it. Also, I feel that Dr. D is overrated. My daughter's teeth are beginning to have gaps and this is after spending $3000 only for the top teeth. I will definitely look for a different orthodontist to continue with the rest of her braces. I do not recommend Dr. D's practice. more

My child and I had been in for a consult with Dr. D. \r My first impression was when we walked in, it was very busy there and the office seemed very disorganized, nobody seemed to smile.\r We then met with a nurse and Dr. D. she was knowledgeable and we were interested in her plan of braces. From that point it seemed to move very quickly as if the nurse was trying to make us start treatment in that office. We had visited others, and did not get that feeling. Our final decision will not be with Dr. D, I recommend visiting others for their opinions, you could have braces on before you know it, if you don't.\r more

Dr. D is amazing! I wish I could post my daughter's before and after photos, she did a miracle job. I love going to see Dr. D and her staff. They always have smiles on their faces and are very friendly. The main reason why I would definitely recommend Dr. D's office is because one night (the 4th of July weekend) my daughter had lost a tooth that was attached to a brace and was hanging on the wire. I called the office and was prompted to an after hours number. I called the number not really expecting much, but was called back within 10mins of leaving a message. The girl from the office tried to help me through getting the wire out and removing the tooth. But with little luck on my end she said she could meet me at one of the offices! At 8pm, we meet with one of the assistants and she removed the loose tooth that was really bugging my daughter. If thats not impeccable service I dont know what is. There is a lot of other great things I could mention about Dr. D, her staff, and her office in general but it would take too long. All in all I wouldnt choose anyone else, when my son is ready for braces Dr. D will be the one he sees. more

The best Ortho experience we have found. My family has recently completed its 4th member with Dr. D. We had a bad experience with our oldest daughters Orthodontist. Dr. D was a welcomed ""breath of fresh air."" Dr. D delivered as expected and then some. So much so, my husband also had Dr. D ""re-do"" his smile. Over the years we have always been impressed with Dr. D's state of the art offices and friendly staff. The way Dr D encourged our childern to wear apppliances and engage them with incentivess to do so made our job much easier and less nagging involved. As a busy mother I love that Dr. D sends myself and my family members text and e-mails to varify appts. etc. I am surprised to read the negative reviews Dr. D has received as we have never experienced any of the problems listed, actually we have had the complete opposite experience. If we have ever had an issue with a broken wire etc., we have been taken care of immediately. If not in our ""home"" office we have been seen in another of Dr. D's offices if not by Dr.D herself, by her partner or one of their assistants. As our daughter prepares to graduate, we have had so many people comment on our daughters smile and we proudly refer everyone to Dr. D. We are actually preparing our 5th family member to became another patient. You will not be disappointed in your choice..... more

My experience with Dr D. is terrible! First is because the appointments are only available two days a week. If you are working, I DO NOT recommend this place. Inflexible hours will cause a lot of troubles for you. When I say it is two days a week, it could mean half day Tuesday (pm) and whole day Wednesday (it happens most of the time). They have very limited early or late afternoon appointments. So, working professionals, this is NOT for you! Secondly, the quality of the service is very poor. After two years of orthodontic treatment, I found out that the results were not as promised before the treatment. I felt that Dr D. rarely listened to her patients' needs, did everything her own way most of the time. Don't get fooled because the location is in Edina or because of the nice office. You better bring your money somewhere else for better quality of service and results! more

I love Dr. D and her staff! They are all extremely friendly and professional and I appreciate all the reminders that I get for my appointments - phone messages, emails and texts. Their early morning (7 am) appointments are perfect for me since I work full time. As an adult, I put off having braces for years because I didn't' want a mouth full of metal. I am currently being treated with Invisalign, clear molds that align my teeth. I couldn't' be happier with the results! more

To anyone who needs braces I highly recommend DrD Orthodontics. My daughters smile went from nearly nothing at all to a glowing smile with many compliments. The staff and their special care was awesome. Because of DrD my daughter has a beautiful smile!! They're outstanding. DrD make such a difference in our community and that is why she is so popular in Plymouth and if you are looking for an orthodontist you should definitely visit her and see for yourself ! Missy more

Don't be fooled by the office or the initial visitation. My husband took our daughter for the first visit. They both liked the office and the ""extras"" that came with it. Also it was in our dental plan and our out-of-pocket expenses would be less. Everything was made to sound very good, but I found out differently a month after. The first incident happened when the wire came loose and stuck out. I made a call to the office to see if we can get it fixed. It was on a Thursday morning, no one answered the phone. I left a message and waited for a return call. Two hours later no one returned my call. Since we only live 10 minutes away, I decided to drive my daughter over to see if we can get her wire fixed. Got to the office at 2:30 pm and saw a note saying they're out running errand and will be back soon. So we waited. The office person returned at 3 pm, but said there's no one in the office to cut the wire and told me to go home and cut it with a nail clipper. A month into it, I found out it's hard to schedule for appointments. The office is only open 2 days a week and closed on Fridays. They're not available after 4 pm. When I called to reschedule for an appointment, I was told there's no time available in the morning or after 2 pm. I'm a working parent and need some flexibility with the hours, but basically was told either keep the appointment or forget about it. My main issue is the inflexible hours, unprofessional staff, and their unwillingness to work with me in rescheduling. We haven't been there long enough to see the result of the braces yet. Unfortunately, we're stuck with them for 2 years. I don't recommend this office at all based on our experience so far and will not return with my other children. They don't even deserve it one star in my opinion! more

I had braces with Dr D orthodontist for about 2 years. I have to say that overall, the service and the staff are poor, the result is not any better. I chose her in the beginning because she promised me that her treatment plan would only last for a year and it ended up 2 years for slightly overcrowded teeth problem. To be honest, I did not have good experience having braces with Dr D orthodontist. There was one time during my regular appointment where the dental assistant cut the wire and she forgot to pick it up from my tongue. Luckily I saw about a quarter inch of wire through the mirror I borrowed from them or else I could not imagine what?s gonna happen if I accidentally swallowed it. There were countless times when the dental assistant missed putting the wire on one of the brackets that caused me to drive back and forth. FYI I lived about 30 mins away from their office. And throughout my treatment, the orthodontist who has a nickname of Dr D accidentally broke the bracket from one of the upper molars. I insisted her to replace the bracket right away but she kept saying that it was not urgent. Towards the end my treatment, then she realized that there was not much time left to fix that crooked molar because I had to move to another state for work. She made excuses by saying that nobody could see that crooked upper molar. Another occasion, I saw another patient whose mom was crying at the office because apparently, the mother was upset with her son?s teeth. Honestly, you don?t want to have an orthodontist who keeps making excuses after excuses and cannot deliver the results. You would not want to spend your money, you time and your energy for a result that this orthodontist cannot deliver and for poor services. Look for another orthodontist!!! And do get deceived by her promises. Now I have to live with one crooked molar for my entire life because of her carelessness! I don?t want any of the people out there to fall into the same footstep. So take my advice and find another orthodontist in your area who is more committed and reliable. more

What a rush to see such a vibrate and willing staff to assist their customers as if they were family. The office is way cool - you just go WOW when you see the freindly and warming surroundings.
