always courteous servers, staff and ambiance!

I'll only talk about the lounge upstairs, since I don't bother eating at the restaurant any longer (too pretentious and not that good). I liked the lounge uptairs in the past and...

Relaxing Lunch 7/29/2002

Though most of the reviews are about dinner, don't forget about the lunch menu at this great restaurant! My boyfriend and I went once and had the steak wrap with wasabi aoli and the chicken club wrap. Service is excellent, knowledgable and unobtrusive. Also, since it was a work day, we got in and out within an hour. Great ambience and parking was relatively easy. Would definitely recommend this, and hope to get a chance to try it our for dinner (the bar looks like fun!) more

Something Different 7/29/2002

I have enjoyed benjy's food on more than one occasion and each time has been well worth the trip. Many told me about the fried calamari (and they were right it IS the best in the city) but the menu only gets better after the appetizers. I have yet to try anything that was not well prepared and delicious. Also, if you want to make your table mates envious of your entre order one of their daily specials more

My Favorite Houston Restaurant 7/9/2002

I travel to H-Town every week and I love to grab dinner at Benjy's. They run a tight operation and I like how the owners are visible and mingling with clientele. I have tried over a dozen things on their menu, and I like them all but the Sea Bass is the best I have had. Also, check out their coconut pie if you get the chance. Pros: sea bass, service, crowd more

Excellent food, Incredible atmosphere, fun bar upstairs......you need to check this place out. Food presentation is like no place other in Houston....seared tuna in great. Pros: Good waiting area, Great Food Cons: Somewhat Pricey more

Best ceviche I ever had! This is one of the few restaurants where the food keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to go back. more
