I've been coming here for years, and would not go anywhere else either. All the staff members are friendly and sweet and you get the feeling they really care about you and that you're not just a number. Everytime I leave the office, I have this good feeling that I'm being taken good care of. more

well, i have just been to this office for the first time, and i have to say the dentist is SO WONDERFUL...very easy to talk to, showed me that I was the priority and explained everything to my understanding, and when i had a question, I was shown pictures of my own teeth so i could better understand everything. They also did a before and after digital picture of my teeth which they didn't charge for, very cool. Really high-tech place. Also, the staff is really pleasant, and easy to talk to. My first appointment did take about 1 hour.. but i had to fill out paperwork and x-rays so I expected it. They did a full exam and told me everything that i needed. Actually was a much better report than I expected b/c it's been a long time since seeing a dentist. The gentleman in the front was very helpful -- he had already found out all my insurance information which made my talk with him easy. I found out what i needed to pay and he offered me different payment options so i didn't have to pay it all at once. they scheduled me to come back to start within a week so i don't even have to wait that long. Thank you again for everything and i will definitely be recommending this office to everybody i know. more

I started going to Dr. Settis office in April for my routine check up and my experience with them has been nothing but pleasant. From the beginning they were thorough and complete with their work, and when it comes to my health I like to have as much information as possible. The doctors are very sweet and caring and very patiently listened to all my concerns..... and put them all to rest. Jeno(?) worked with my busy work schedule and budget to help get my mouth back to good health (it's been too long shhh). I will continue to see them from now on and I feel relaxed knowing that I found an office I can trust. more

I switched dentists to Dr. Setti's because of the positive reviews. I appreciate his caring manner, his professionalism, and his availability for early morning appointments, which allows me to get some dental work done before I head into the office. His support staff is always friendly; his front desk staff is very helpful at explaining my very confusing dental insurance coverage and benefits. Most likely the best dental office in the city. more

Superb dentist, staff. Kind and genuine. 5/24/2011

Dr. setti did a porcelain crown and 2 veneers for me. Must say, I was nervous about going to a new dentist for some work I knew I needed but when I walked in I immed. felt relaxed. This, I thought, is a good sign. The receptionist explained that the office's policy is that patients are to be treated like guests in their home. Offered me some ice water - must have looked like I needed it. Anyway, I came back in 2 weeks to get the items put in place and they are gorgeous. No one would EVER EVER think they aren't my original teeth. The dr. is a real jewel, sweet, takes time with you and enjoys what he does, you can tell. Staff are friendly, nice people too. Went to bat for me with my 2 insurance companies (yawn), were knowledgeable and everything turned out fine, as initially explained. more

They will say ANYTHING to get you in the chair and then will 5/13/2011

I am usually the kind of person that follows the rule "" if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all."" But after today that changes! 2 years ago i had a root canal and crown done by Dr. Setti. I have 2 different dental insurance policies. I was told by his office staff that there would be NO cost for this work due to my good insurance. I then got a bill for over 1200.00 dollars. I went to the office to discuss the bill and was told that my insurance had not cleared everything yet and not to worry. I then received a call from them about the bill and was asked when i was going to pay. I made another stop to discuss this bill. I was told at that time that the billing person was busy and would get around to checking on this for me. I recieved a bill in the mail for 780.00. even though i was told there would be no cost. Yet another visit to speak to them in person. Now the balance was back up to 1000.00 ?? I spoke to the office manager about my concern about the ever changing amount of a bill that was not even suppose to exist. She said that it was wrong and that the balance was Zero. I stupidly made an Appt today for some work on a tooth that needed a root canal and when i showed up i was told that i would have to pay my balance of 780.00 before any work would be done. When i told them that i had discussed the matter with the office manager ( who was not there ) they called me a liar. Save yourself the misery of dealing with this incompetent deceptive office ! more

Highly Recommended - best I've been to 3/11/2010

Dr. Setti is gentle, a perfectionist and really nice too. He redid some teeth that a dentist messed up before I moved to Los Angeles and his work is just awesome -- I asked a new friend if she could tell which teeth were the crown and veneer and she couldn't! Staff is really nice too...love the hot towel they give you after the session. It's the little things that matter. Couldn't recommend this office more... Pros: Gentle, Professional, Very Nice, Listens to me Cons: Not coming here sooner more

This is it! Wow, a remarkable dentist. 3/20/2009

What can i say...Dr. Setti is soooo nice...gentle, he really cares and it shows. He spends a lot of time making sure everything is just right. I got two porcelain crowns and when he showed me when he finished I couldn't tell them from my other teeth! I moved from Sacramento where I thought I had a good dentist but this one wins the prize. He's a real artist. Karen the hygienist is great and Mimi (?) at front is so pleasant and helpful. Pros: VERY gentle, Cares, Helpful staff, Really nice, relaxed Cons: Zero more

Never thought I'd enjoy going to the dentist 1/9/2009

Dr. Setti has been so wonderful and has done an amazing job. I have brand new lumineers and a beautiful new smile. He is a perfectionist and gave me exactly what I wanted. I didn't want to look like a different person but wanted to improve the overall smile and imprefections. It did take a few additional trips but I was happy that it was done the way I wanted and he woldn't let me have it any other way. The staff is extremely friendly and nice and Dr. Setti is so gentle it doesn't even feel like going to the dentist. Pros: Great results, pain free, perfectionist, great staff, always on time more

Super quality dentist and excellent staff 3/28/2008

I tried the office because of rec's here and I'm very happy with the office... the staff made me feel relaxed and welcome, like being a guest in somebody's house, not in a dental office. The receptionist was happy to accommodate my request of weird appointment times because of my job. Dr. Setti is meticulous and perfectionistic but with NO attitude I've seen with previous dentists. They're efficient and professional. I got 2 perfect looking crowns for a lot less than my previous dentist in Encino. HIghly recommended. more

Shocking! 2/15/2008

I read all the great reviews about Dr. Setti and was desperate to find a good and friendly dentist, so I gave them a call. I asked if they do any free consultations (since I need a lot of work done and want to find a dentist that I?m convertible with) the reception (Mia) responded with NO! And hung up. I was so shocked, I called her back and asked her ?why? she hung up the phone? She said she didn?t! Strange..! Since, I had a teethe ach and was desperate to find a good dentist in my neighborhood, I figured maybe it was a bad phone connection, so I continued to try to make an appointment to see Dr. Setti. I asked her, since I?m working with a budged and I?m not big in wasting the Dr?s and my time, how much does the Doctor charge for a root canal? She responded with up to $1700! Which was much more then I wanted to spend for a front tooth root canal, so I said; wow, that?s a bit much for me. Without her going into any details, she responded with; well, maybe you should fine a cheap dentist that you can afford, or go to a cheap clinic, cause if you want quality you have to PAY for it HONEY!!! Again,I was shocked! I know dental work is expensive. However, I don?t understand why dentist are so rude about it! I just couldn?t believe my ears! The way she dismissed me! I?m not a millionaire, however, I am willing to spend a good amount on fixing my teeth. Anyway, long story short. She then hung up on me?again! Is it me, or do (especially Persian dentists) have a way that is just rood and very ? pay me top dollars or take a hike ? type of attitude? Is every one loaded with money that asking for general prices makes you out to be a poor beggar, unworthy and an unwelcome client? Maybe she just was having a bad day, however, I?m not sure I can justify her behavior! I?m not saying that Dr. Setti is a bad dentist, cause I never meet him, but as for them being friendly and welcoming, not according to my experience with them! Cons: shocking rude more

If you want the best, see Dr. Setti 10/9/2007

I found Dr. Setti here and though I've never actually reviewed anything before, I had to come back after seeing Dr. Setti for my 6 new Lumineer veneers. He also did an amazing whitening of my other teeth with Zoom. I'm a makeup artist in the entertainment field and I feel I know quality when it comes to the face. I researched veneers and found that Lumineers and Da Vinci are both superior (Dr. Setti explained the finer points of both.) He's also straightening my lower front teeth with Invisalign (which truly are unnoticeable.) To sum up, Dr. Setti is the best dentist I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few, having lived all over the country. He is knowledgeable, talented -- has an eye for ""your"" best look (he taught me some things about the look of the face I didn't know) -- and very friendly. Really, everybody is there. If you're looking for the best, you will do yourself a great favor to see Dr. Setti. My partner goes there and loves it too. Pros: I actually ENJOY going here!! Great attitude, friendly and caring. Cons: A bit of a drive for me but worth it. more
