Happy Dental is very convenient because they actually have two separate locations, meaning that you can easily go to the one that is closest to you and be able to get your dental work done only a short drive away. The staff is very nice at Happy Dental and they work hard to make you feel comfortable and secure. They explain everything that they do so that there aren't any unknown surprises, and will even go into enough detail to talk about why they need to do a specific procedure. Dr. Lee and her staff are all friendly and welcoming to the practice. They are very respectful and professional. As someone who does not EVER want to go to the dentist, I am grateful to them for making the experience a positive one. All procedures were explained in detail and my anxiety over being there was eased. The front desk staff was also great at explaining billing and was easy to deal with when working with scheduling. I recently finished two root canals with Dr. Lee.\r The first appointment was at her New York location on Park Avenue which was easy to find for someone who does not frequent New York City often. This was my first time getting a root canal, or any severe dental procedure. Thankfully, Dr. Lee and her staff walked step by step of everything that would happen before and after the procedure.\r The second and final installation of my root canal treatment was performed at her New Jersey location (it's amazing she has two locations! So convenient!). I was amazed at the beauty of this office compared to a tighter fit at her New York one. Again, she walked me through what we would be finishing that day and prescribed me antibiotics.\r \r I am and will continue to send my praises of her as a Dentist to friends and family. To me Dr. Angela Lee is a great dentist. She is very knowledgeable and honest person. She will treat you with dignity and respect. She always takes her time to explain and will answer all you questions – just ask! Also, before Dr.Lee does anything she explains the procedure. Seriously most definitely the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. I was absolutely stunned by how smooth and painless everything was especially since I was going in for a root canal. Dr Lee Angela treated my teeth with no problem. I am not sure why people leave faulty reviews on the net. I strongly disagree with the review below and it makes me upset that somebody is talking bad mouth about a healthcare professional. Dr Lee Angela treated me and my entire family with honesty. Don't be fooled by all the reviews. We are decent, honest, professional individuals who will now tell anyone and everyone not to come to this woman because she does not have a kind heart. \r \r I have told all colleagues in the global firm for which I work, and all my friends not to come to her, and they have taken note and passed on the word. Despite my reservations (I was uncomfortable with her forceful personality upon meeting her for the first time), my husband insisted ongoing to Angela Lee because he was convinced she could fix all teeth problems. I wanted him to go to my own dentist who is amazing (but whom Angela Lee derided because he did not graduate from Columbia (he went to NYU), but my husband said Angela Lee had told him she would ""fix"" his teeth.\r \r Long story short - she refused to take responsibility for her mistakes, and then proceeded to turn 180 degrees in personality on us when we questioned her. We are convinced she is bi polar. So long as you pay her, and let her do whatever she wants, she is nice. If you question her treatment, she turns on you. \r \r We are frightened of her, were going to file a case against her, but decided not to because it would be too much trouble and we want to just be done with her.\r \r Please note, in my entire life, I have never gotten into an argument with a professed ""professional"". This is the first time ever where I have been verbally abused, threatened, and then treated like I was lower than the earth.\r \r My husband was actually depressed over the way she treated him. He is highly educated, intelligent, a military veteran, and a good person, yet her treatment of him as a human being brought him to an all time low.\r \r I come from a family of lawyers and doctors who have all said they'd be willing to assist us in a case against her, but we are too tired.
