Downtown Comics

As far as comic shops go in Indianapolis, Downtown Comics has no equal. If you want it, they will find it. Glenn and Doug are both very knowledgeable and if they can't find it in-store for you to buy, they always check around their other locations to see if something is in stock. If you're a first-time visitor to the store, and don't know where to find what you're looking for, just ASK! These guys are good at what they do and they take their jobs seriously... As seriously as one can take something as lighthearted and fun as comics, trading card games, and collectibles!!! I visit the store weekly just to stop in and say hello sometimes, and I cannot think of one instance where I was ever not helped or a question of mine went unanswered! Hope this helps! -- X-Ben more

We frequent downtown comics in Avon and they are the best! Glen is awesome and always finds little doodads or freebies to give the kids when we go by so they also love going there! The layout makes everything easy to find and the staff is knowledgeable about just about anything! They even discuss things with my 7 year old. They are the best. I would suggest this store to anyone with a love for superheros, gaming or comics! I'm not into them that much, but hubby and son are and the staff always makes it an interesting trip for me and the girls. Sarah Holland more

I was not impressed with my visit to downtown comics. The employees were very stand-offish. I was not spoken to once in my time in the store, and I was there for a solid half hour. I could have used some help, because I could not find anything in the store. The layout was confusing to me. At least I won't be going back, so I don't need to worry about learning the store. more
