Downey Gate & Grage Door Repair

This garage door repair company will not let you down. 3 years ago my girlfriend was in need of new garage doors. After researching we decided to give this garage door company our business. Steven came out and quickly demonstrated he was exceptionally knowledgeable. His pricing was excellent and he did an A-1 job on the install. As I to was in the market for garage doors and openers I had Caley come out and give me an estimate. Being the crazy research nut when I purchase anything I found a company in New England that was producing a new type of door that seemed interesting. I told Steven about this and he took the initiative to call the owner of this company and find out more. At the end of the day I didn't go with this new product, but was impressed that Caley took the time to find out more. To end my story I opted not to get new doors at that time, but last year I had Caley rebuild my existing doors and install two new openers. This was a challenging job due to an unfortunately placed cross beam in my garage. Steven was able to work around this by choosing a Lift Master Screw Drive unit that he was able to modify to work in this situation. To end my story the openers both failed just after my one year warranty expired. Caley determined that his modifications were not 100% perfect and most likely contributed to the failure. As this was a unique installation it is quite understandable that things like this could go wrong. That being said, Caley fixed the doors at no cost to me and is doing all he can to make the job perfect.. I truly appreciate great customer service and commitment to doing things the right way. this garage door repair company and Steven are a class act. I highly recommend you give them your business, you will not be disappointed more

This company rocks! Initially, I was a bit put off because I left a voice mail message an no one returned my call. After calling back, I'll chalk it up to the receptionist/appointment maker. She was a bit frosty on the phone and seemed a little irritated for no reason. They were able to set up an appointment quickly, though. The guy who came out to my house was fantastic. We thought that we would have to replace the garage door opener since it looked completely inoperable and I knew the previous owners bought the house as a foreclosure. We were prepared to pay $359 plus tax but ended up only paying $99 because the tech was able to repair the current system. He was extremely knowledgeable. He spent hours fixing the current garage door opener, having to remount it, re-do the wiring, etc. I was incredibly impressed by his skill, knowledge, friendliness and ability to save us lots of money. I highly recommend this company! more

Steven was great! Fast, friendly and courteous. Came out to fix a spring and now both of my garage doors are quieter than ever. Seriously - it's NEVER been this quiet. He happened to be in the are when I called so he was able to get right over an knock it out. Would definitely recommend, we're very happy with his work. Keep it local! more
