Above and Beyond 3/21/2011

I brought my newly bought used car in for some 100K maintenance. As a result, some carbon must have moved elsewhere in the engine and created a rough running engine. Some shops could have claimed this was a natural affect of the service and charged for this, but not Douglas! They worked on the issue over three days and delivered a car running real smooth, with no additional charges. NIce job Douglas! You live your mission statement, "Service with Integrity". more

Land Rover Discovery 3/14/2011

I drive a Land Rover Discovery, possibly the worst mechanical car on the planet. That said, it is paid off so i keep fixing it. After years of taking it to LR dealers, I discovered you guys. And I will NEVER take any car I own anywhere else for service. You are honest, have the car ready when you say you will, and somehow manage to take the sting out of all the money i pour into my car. It is a pleasure doing with business with you. And your guy Frank in Barrington is the best car guy I've ever dealt with. more

pleasant experience,I had gotten other estimates for serveral problems with my 1998 bmw and was quoted outragesously prices at other shops that specialized in bmw.the prices at douglas was more sensible,so far its been 2 weeks and my car is running fine all the services they performed brakes,suspensions system,water pump all is well looking forward to having a long term relationship.thanks more

I was extremely pleased with the customer service provided at Douglas. The people I met were very courteous and explained what was done to my vehicle. The result of the work on my headlight improved the brightness of that light. An added unexpected bonus was that my car was washed when I came to pick it up. Thank you! more
